The following week came and it was Friday after school. The family was going to stay indoors all weekend for games and movies. Stef was at the store with Callie to pick up junk food for the weekend. They invited Frank and Sharon to come and Dana and Stuart were coming as well to spend it with the family. Callie eyed the chips and got three bags of Nacho Doritos, Lays' Sour Cream and Onion, Lay's Sour Cream and Cheddar. Nine bags was enough and she put in three bags of pistachios and pretzels.

"So, baby girl how is Track?" Stef asked as Callie gave her a weird look.

"Ask Caleb or Callum," she mumbled as Stef realized her mistake.

"Sorry baby girl. I forgot," Stef replied as Callie nodded. The girl missed Track and it was killing her not to be able to run. Her broken wrist turned out to be a hairline fracture and it was healing nicely. Callie was glad that she would be able to return to her sport in a week of two.

"What else do we need?" Stef asked. Callie got two big boxes of the fish crackers and cases of Canada Dry 36 pack variety pack of Ginger Ale.

"Ice cream?" Stef asked as Callie smile and nodded. Two five gallon containers were picked up.

"This is so cool," Callie added. "I wish Lexi could come over."

"You can invite her?" Stef asked as Callie sighed.

"She doesn't want to be rude, since Jesus won't be able to come and the others don't want to come either," Callie added.

"Why can't Jesus come?" Stef asked as she sighed. "Oh he is allergic."

"Yup," Callie added. "Which is one of the reasons, Armando did not want to adopt."

"I invited dad and he will come too," Stef added. Callie nodded.

The trio left Vons and went to Costco and picked up fifteen pizzas that need to be put in the oven. "I love Costco pizza," Callie added. Stef got two spinach and feta as well as two chicken based pizzas, the rest were pepperoni and combination or meat lovers.

Callie put in six bags of frozen wings as well as a veggie, fruit, cheese, and meat platters.

The stuff was paid for and Stef and Callie went to the food court to get some pizza slices and polish dogs. They each had a slice of pizza and a polish dog with a soda.

"Mama would kill us," Callie added.

"Only if she finds out," Stef added. "Plus this is a snack."

"Some snack," Callie added as her mom gave her a mild glare. "Sorry."

At home, Stef and Callie put all the junk food away and they showered and got dressed to meet the rest of the family at the buffet, since Dana and Stuart came for the family fun weekend.

"Can we wait?" Callie asked. "I'm so full right now."

"Let's get to the gym and burn off what we ate?" Stef asked.

"Really? After taking a shower?" Callie asked.

"Sorry I forgot," Stef added.

"You've been forgetful all day mommy," Callie smirked.

"NOT NOW CALLIE!" Stef snapped as Callie's eyes went wide and she felt the tears. She rushed to her old playroom that she uses as a reading room and slammed the door. Stef sighed since she just snapped at her daughter for no reason and gave her a few minutes.

Stef opened the door to hear and see Callie crying. She ran over to her daughter and hugged her tight. "I'm sorry baby girl. Mommy's sorry," Stef added. "I'm not sure what came over me."
