A Different Type of Family

Meet The Parents

The park near the Adams Foster home was big and had a lot of play structures. The family was celebrating AJs first birthday party. Lena scanned for her parents and hoped they showed up for her baby boys' big day. Lena did not know were the year had gone. First he was born and now he was a year old and started walking a few days ago.

Ty just recently got all of his toys back and was allowed in the play room again. He was punished for a week for leaving daycare. Lena was still shocked about that and cringed at the thought that Ty could have been hurt of kidnapped or worse killed. Lena set up the two Pack n Plays and AJ and Callie were in one, while Caleb and Callum were in the other one. The four babies were asleep.

Stef smiled as Stella and Leonarda showed up with their twins Matthew and Max aged 2. She ran over to them and smiled. "How was the drive?" Stef asked.

"Long and uneventful," Stella added.

"Uneventful?" Leonarda asked. "Matthew screamed the entire time and Max threw up three times."

"I feel for you Stef. All these years as her best friend," Stella added as the three hugged.

"So where is this woman of your's?" Stella asked. 

"With the babies," Stef added as they walked over. "Lena?"

"Yes babe?" Lena asked as she eyed a blonde woman and a Mexican woman.

"Lena this is Leonarda and her wife Stella," Stef added. "Girls this is my soon to be wife Lena Adams."

"You really want her? She can be quite the handful," Leonarda added. Stef rolled her eyes andeyed her friend in a glare.'

"What? She needs to be warned," Leonarda added.

"I want her and all bad qualities," Lena added. "It is nice to meet you two and who are these cute boys?" Lena asked.

"These are Matthew and Max. They are twins," Stella added. "I'm the biological mom and Leonarda carried and gave birth to them for us."

"WOW! They are cute," Lena added. Stella and Leonarda meet Ty and AJ for the first time. Guests started to mingle and kids started to play.

"What cuties," Stella added as Leonarda smiled. All the boys went to play at the kid area.

An hour later, Dana, Stuart and Nate showed up. Lena sighed and walked over to her parents and older brother. "Hi. Thanks for coming," Lena added.

"Thanks for inviting us," Dana added. "Where are the boys?"

"With Stef," Lena added. "At the playground."

Before Lena could stop her, Dana went to the playground and passed the Pack n Plays and heard crying. She peered in and knew it was Callie. Dana smiled since the girl tugged at her heart and lifted her out. 

"Hi angel buggy," Dana added as she gathered Callie in her arms and she stopped crying.

"WOW!" Stef added. "She doesn't take to anyone so fast. "I'm Stef Foster."

"Dana Adams," the older woman nodded.

"Nice to meet you," Stef added. "Your daughter is the best."

"That she is," Dana added. She liked Stef already and felt bad for judging her too harshly.

Lena walked over to her dad. "Hi dad. I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry too," he added as they hugged. "I just want what is best for you and my grandson's."

"Thanks and I understand," Lena added as her mom and Stef came over. 

"Stuart this is Stef and her daughter Callie," Dana added as Stuart took Callie from Dana. The baby girl started to cry as Lena took her, while she still continued to cry. Dana took her back and Callie stopped crying.
