Callie Adams Foster was both a morning person and not at times. She was in-between and could not sleep and went to the trail to walk or run to gather her emotions. The last six weeks were good and bad. She had to admit how scared she was and still is.

"Hey you," Lexi added as she came to find Callie on the trails. Callie smiled back.

"Hey yourself," Callie added as they kissed on the lips. "I loved last night. The sharing we did."

"I did too. I loved that you shared how scared you really are," Lexi added. "We are human and it is a part of being human."

"I wish I were a Vulcan," Callie added. "I can purge my emotions and all."

"And save on therapy?"  Lexi asked as Callie laughed.

"I have something for you," Callie added as she gave Lexi a promise ring.

"Oh Callie," Lexi added in tears. "It's great."

"Do you like it love?" Callie asked.

"No. I love it," Lexi added as Callie slipped on a ring with her birth stone. "This is for you."

It was a ring and a necklace. "You can wear it around your neck."

"I'd rather have it on my finger," Callie added as Lexi smiled and nodded and slipped the ring on Callie's finger. They both kissed.

"I can't wait to marry you," Callie added.

"And I can't wait for us to have babies," Lexi added. "Can we have nine?"

"Nine?" Callie asked. "Sure. Hopefully we get more than one girl."

Lexi nodded as they went to walk the trails before breakfast and came back early to shower.

The breakfast was huge as the teens piled their plates with eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy. Pancakes and waffles were made as well. Callie loved waffles, while Lexi loved pancakes.

"Waffles are better!" Callie added in a smirk.

"As if! Pancakes are better and start first because of the letter P!" Lexi added.

"Jesus and Jude like waffles," Callie added.

"Those two live to eat and  so do Owen and Oliver. Anything is good to them," Lexi added.

"Caleb is the same, but he won't eat pancakes," Callie added.

"Wait something he doesn't like to eat?" Lexi asked all shocked and shit faced.

"Yup. Mama, Caleb, Callu and me are waffle people," Callie added.

"Pancakes are the best!" Lexi added.

"Our kids will prefer waffles any day over old pancakes," Callie added.

"Over my dead body,"  Lexi added. "The kids I have will love pancakes."

"The kids I have will love waffles and I will corrupt the other ones to join my love of waffles," Callie added as she bit into a waffle. "Um, better than kissing you!"

"Excuse me? What did you say?" Lexi asked.

"Waffles are better than kissing you," Callie added as Lexi ran up and kissed her.

"Waffles or me?" Lexi asked. Callie smiled sadly and tossed the waffle away.

"As it should be," Lexi smirked.

"Pancakes or me?" Callie asked.

Lexi sighed and tossed her pancake away.

"As it should be woman," Callie added in a smirk.
