"HERE WE GO!" Caleb shouted at the top of his lungs. "YES!"

Callie and the other girls' rolled their eyes at Caleb. "Grow up!" Callie added as Caleb glared at her and also stuck out his tongue as the bus left Anchor Beach. Grace Chen was on the other bus that carried all the luggage and supplies and the athletes duffel bags.

The ride was smooth and Callie napped on the way as she held Lexi's hand. The two had been friends since preschool and became best friends and had been girlfriends since they were 12 years' old. Callie remembered coming out to her parents when she was ten and they were so accepting.

It took her daddy a little while longer to accept the fact that his daughter was into girl's like her mom. It took a year, but Mike eventually came around and she smiled.

"I just want to you be happy. It is hard to be in a same-sex relationship," he added.

"I am happy daddy," Callie added. He nodded. When Callie and Lexi started to date, it was easy for the family and Mike since they knew Lexi since preschool.

"At least she can't get pregnant," Mike added. Stef and Lena nodded with small grins.

Callie was brought back to reality as she felt a kiss on her lips. She opened her eyes to see her girlfriend and she kissed her back. Everyone on the team, knew that they were going out and they were okay with it.

"Hi love," Callie added as she smiled. "How long was I sleeping?"

"An hour after I decided to wake you," Lexi added.

"Thanks for the much appreciated wake up call," Callie added. "It sent me in overdrive."

"That was so cheesy, but I love you still," Lexi added as she smiled and rested her head on Callie's shoulder as she kissed Lexi's neck. "Let's watch a movie," Callie added as she turned on her IPAD Air 3 and they watched McFarland USA.

"I always loved this movie," Callie added. "It is my favorite Disney sport movie."

"What about Cool Running's?" Lexi asked. "That used to be your favorite."

"UGH. You suck. I don't really know anymore," Callie added. Lexi smirked as Callie rolled her eyes. "Did you just your eyes at me?" Lexi asked.

"Sorry mommy," Callie teased as Lexi gave her a fake glare.

Another hour passed as they pulled into Fresno high school and the coed team got off the bus and checked in. Coach Andrews came to see the team and smiled.

"Have fun out there and no heroics," he added. "We have two other teams we are trying to beat."

The girls and boys went to do a warm up. It was only for ten minutes and very slow.

The girls were called and they took off once they heard the gun go off. It was a mad dash to get into the narrow space, but they all managed. Callie, Lexi and Emma were in the lead and knew what they could do and not do. They kept that pace throughout the entire time and the three came in first, second, and third respectively.

"Le'ts get a cool down," Callie added. "When everyone comes," she added. She always wanted to be fair. Kelsey and Tia came in fourth and fifth, which meant that the Anchor Beach girl's team won. The five smiled at each other as their other five friends came in and they all went to take a cool down.

The boys were called and like the girls' they took off at a run once the gun went off. Caleb, Callum and Matthew came in first, second and third in order and were closely followed by Max and Wyatt. The Anchor Beach boys' team won and waited for their five other friends and they did a cool down.
