A Different Type of Family

Bailey Hale came back to GU and she eyed Callie and felt bad, so ignored her. She wasn't one for apologies and she never could since she felt guilty. She hurt her foster siblings and she felt bad. Bruce came in and smiled, not at his sister but Callie.

"CALLIE!" he added as they hugged. "My mama told me you were here."

"Yup. Service Learning. AJ wanted BU, but they told him no," Callie added. Bruce nodded.

"He is not an example until he gets better," he added. Callie nodded.

" You know her?" Bailey asked her twin.

"Her family fostered me on an emergency basis," Bruce added. "She is a good friend."

"Are you banging her?" Bailey asked bluntly. Callie and Bruce eyed his twin in shock.

"BAILEY. No I'm not. She is not into guys," he added.

"Yeah. I'm a lesbian," Callie added. 

"And I'm her girlfriend," Lexi added upset that Bailey was starting crap. 

Rita came to see to Bailey and take her up to her room. "Sorry," Bruce added.

"Don't be. She's been through a lot," Callie added. "I can't imagine what she's been through."

"Yeah," Lexi replied. "How is she?"

"Good. But doesn't want to see a therapist," Bruce added. "She can't come home if she doesn't try."

"We hope she does," Callie added. The door opened and in walked Ty.

"Who is the brother?" Daphne asked as she eyed Ty. Ty smiled once he saw Callie and Lexi.

"Callie. Lexi. We got to go," Ty added. Callie and Lexi nodded and Callie flew into his arms as he lifted her up. The three left, but asked if Bruce needed a ride.

"Sure," he added. He texted his mama that Ty was bringing him home. 

"Who was he?" Kiara asked of Ty.

"Ty Adams Foster," Rita added. "Lena's only bio kid."

"Oh. So Callie's brother?" the two asked as Rita nodded. Unknown to everyone was that Ty was in a secret relationship with her best friend Ethan. They have been a couple since December.

"That girl is damn lucky," Alejandra added. 

On the way to Bruce's home. "Adoption soon. How do you feel?" Ty asked.

"I guess okay, but I hope Bailey would get adopted with me," Bruce added.

Callie and Lexi patted his back. "She will come around. People have to hit rock bottom first."

"She did. She tried to kill herself and she is still angry and mad," he added.

"She tried to kill herself?" Callie asked. "When?"

"A few weeks back," Bruce added. 

"Oh. How is she coping?" Callie added.

"Not to good," Bruce added. The rest of the ride was silent as Ty pulled into the Paul Porter driveway and dropped Bruce off. Monte and Jenna waved from the porch as Ty and the girls' waved back. 

It was Thursday and the kids were off as well as Friday. The boys' went camping with Mike and Callie wanted no one in her room and he nodded. AJ sighed, but understood. Callie was a girl and Mike's only daughter. Mike wasn't having anymore kids, since he is sterile and he also didn't want a relationship. Minus Ty since he had college plans.

Lena eyed her wife and daughter as she was about to leave that morning. "Bye my girls," Lena added as Stef and Callie hugged her goodbye. Lena was going on a camping trip with all of the seventh graders as well as Monte.
