Ciel's POV
I smiled as i walked up the steps of her manor, surely out of the surprises she's had she would enjoy this one..I looked at Sebastian as he knocked on the door, and i couldn't help but wonder why he had suggested this. The door opened and i saw Lucius bow to us and gesture us inside, but.. there was something different about him. His eyes weren't blue they were a sea green, i wonder why he wore colored lenses so much maybe Jade doesn't like the color of his eyes. He guided us through the manor and out to the garden, she was dressed in a rather strange dress... maybe it was a new dress they were going to exhibit. It was a dark crimson with gold upper bands and small arabian swirls and embroidering on the arm sleeves and on the sides of the skirt. The shoulders were bare and only her upper arms were covered. She looked breathtaking, her hair was laid down her back in a straight stream of dark brown with the light blonde highlights and amber colored highlights. I never got tired of getting my breath taken away whenever i looked at her. My beautiful fiancé.. my beautiful bride to be. I walked up to her smiling and gently took hold of her arms and said softly.
"Surprise my love."
I felt her hands reach up and touch mine as she leaned her body back against mine leaning her head to the side so she could look at my hand on her arm.
"Ciel, is it really you... or am i dreaming."
I smiled softly and kissed her cheek lightly as i said.
"No its me.. I'm here, i missed you so i came by i hope it doesn't bother you."
"Not at all, I'm glad you came i missed you as well.. How far away is it now, i haven't been keeping track of the days."
She smiled up at me sweetly and i smiled back as i said with joy in my voice.
"The wedding... The wedding day is seven months and everything has been planned. All we have left to do is wait."
She nodded her head and sighed relaxing against me while she stared off to the side. My gaze stayed ahead just looking out over the garden being lit up by the sunlight in its golden color, illuminating the stones of the pathways that weaved throughout the beds of flowers showing off their varied colors. Red, blue, purple and even specks of black shone off in the sunlight. My garden was impressive but hers was astounding, and as i looked out i saw her butler tending to each flower with diligence. This must be what Sebastian looks like as he tends to my garden at the manor. We must have been standing on the balcony for some time because i grew so used to Jade leaning on me that when she lifted herself off and moved away i found myself wondering when she had arrived.
"Jade is everything all right?"
"Yes... I just need to see to something, i shall see you for tea in a little while."
With that she descended the stairs and made her way through the garden, but something about the way she spoke to me was different. I dismissed this and made my way through the manor towards the library. I wonder if a game of chess would improve her mood, i smiled to myself and began setting the pieces in place upon the chess board on the table near the window.
Jade's POV
It felt nice to be against Ciel, but the moment my eyes fell upon Lucius my heart started to race. He was working on the roses and his head lifted up from the flowers and looked to me. He may have been to far away for Ciel to notice, but i knew his eyes were staring right back in mine. I felt myself lean forward and out of Ciel's arms.
"Jade is everything all right?"
I nodded my head and moved from him my attention still thinking of Lucius as i made my way to the stairs of my balcony.
