Our Little Secret

Alois's POV

I smiled at her sweetly and i saw a hint of a blush crossing her cheeks. I knew it.. she felt it to, she felt the same way i did.. she felt something in her heart to me. It may not be love, but it was something i could tell from the way she was acting. She fidgeted in her chair, and she was avoiding my gaze.

"My lady your blushing."

"Because your holding my hand so gently... it reminds me of my fiancé..."

"Really, i would think he would grip your hand more tightly."

She laughed at this but pulled her hand from mine, i felt sad at this. A pure heart... but how can i make her mine...

Jade's POV

What on earth was he doing! Not only was he risking his own reputation, but he was putting my fidelity at risk along with my reputation. I had managed to free my hand but the way he was looking at me.. it was just like Ciel did the day he kissed me.. I need to keep my guard up at all times around this boy, he was sneaky. I smiled to myself and chuckled, now i understood why they called him the spider. I watched as Alois stood up and moved closer to me, i wondered what was taking Lucius so long... he needed to get back here soon. Alois went behind my chair and then rested his hands on my shoulders gently, i picked my cup up and sipped it slowly to occupy my mouth to keep from shouting at him. But then his breath tickled my ear as he whispered.

"This can be our little secret..."

What? I felt his hand push my hand down taking the cup with it. I turned and looked at him and then his lips fell upon mine and i was trapped by his hand cupping my face gently to keep me from turning away. No! Damn him! I moved my hand up and pushed against his chest separating our lips and before i could shout i heard Lucius say calmly.

"Young Mistress.."

Alois moved from me quickly and i looked at Lucius with a look of both joy and anger. Joy that he was here, and anger that he came so late.

"What is it Lucius?"

"I just remembered a certain document for your company that you forgot to sign, shall i bring it out?"

Had he lost his mind! I never take read documents about my business out in the open, spies could be everywhere. I stood up quickly and said coldly to him.

"Don't be absurd! I shall come to my study and look it over myself, pardon my absence for a moment Alois but i have something to attend to.."

I walked away from Alois following Lucius to my study, i did not overhear the conversation between Claude and Alois since i was too far away from them.

Alois's POV

I sighed annoyed as i sat down in my chair again watching her leave.

"I told you to keep him busy.."

"He slipped past me your highness."

"Excuses!"

I slammed my fist on the table shouting at him, i was furious that he did not keep that butler of hers away from us long enough. She probably heard his footsteps approaching and that was why she pushed me away. That butler of hers interrupted our first kiss... I smiled as i leaned back in the chair i could still feel her lips on mine... They were so soft. I lifted my finger to my lips and i smiled feeling the presence of her lipstick on mine.

"Tell me Claude, what were you and Lucius doing while you were away."
