Safe And Sound

Lucius's POV

I knew she would faint the moment i saw her stumble away from the boy.... her sister's face still stood in her eyes reflection when i took her out of that room and no sooner had her beau left her sight did her body cave in and collapse leaving her in this state... this state of vulnerability...this state of weakness, i could tell that if i pushed myself upon her.. she would not be able to push me back. Yet i found myself sitting there holding her to me, not caring about my wants but being concerned of the well being of my master. I continued petting her hair as she rested her head upon my lap, so sweet and young.... her hair was so soft and her lips looked so full and voluptuous that i felt my desires nagging at me to take her. Yet her order burned against the seal on my hand preventing me from making any further advance, if i wanted to pursue her further i needed her to raise that order...but how.. there was many ways i could, a certain mixture would make her vulnerable to following any command i gave her should i slip it into her drink.. my powers could influence her thoughts and that could certainly aid me in my attempts...

"Nnn... L...Lucius.."

My eyes widened as i heard her soft voice whisper out my name. I was so lost in my own thoughts i had stopped watching her dreams. I peered into her mind and saw the dream she was experiencing.

Jade's Dream- Lucius's POV
Her body was surrounded by flames and she was coughing as she frantically searched for something. I sighed and made my presence appear in her dream, but to her it seemed that i walked right through the ring of fire and her dream self ran to me and held me tightly pressing her face to my chest her eyes closed shut. Her hands were clinging to my arm as she held herself tightly to me.

"Lucius help me, i can't put the fires out.."

I stood still and spoke calmly to her as she trembled.

"My lady... there is no fire..."

A ear piercing scream emitted from outside the ring of fire that held her captive, she began weeping more as she ran to the edge of the circle only to have the flames rise and burn hotter causing her to step away coughing as the smoke burned her lungs. I walked forward and placed my hands upon her shoulder and drew her body close to mine. She was too lost within the dream to understand that none of the things around her were real. If i was to get her out... i needed to end the dream. I closed my eyes and removed my arms from her as i sank into the ground, leaving her alone in that circle of hellish fire. She cried out in anger as i left, cursing me for leaving her to die, but she was not the one to die... I knew exactly how her dreams ended and i needed to find out where the illusion of her sister would be this time... It did not take me long before i came across a small girl lying outstretched on the ground, the blonde hair was singed and the corpse lay in tattered clothing covered in blood. I picked up the corpse and made my way back to the hell fire. I was holding the dream image of her sister's corpse in my arms as i watched her running frantically in the hell circle trying to find an escape. Her heart was racing and her eyes were red from irritation of the smoke and from crying. I sighed again as i stepped forward and walked to my mistress.

"My lady... I'm afraid... there was nothing i could do.."

Jade fell to her knees sobbing softly as i put the corpse in her arms. Perhaps now that she had the body she would wake up..

"El...elsie.. im so sorry.."

Jade held Elsie's head to her own as she cried more. I noticed the flames dying away as Jade wept on the ground, i felt it necessary to allow her this moment in the dream before i would yank her out of here and into my arms.. She finally managed to stop the flow of tears before the body crumbled to dust and she looked up at me with a look of utter despair.. .delicious.. sweet despair.. how intoxicating was her pain from rewatching the death of her sister. the death that brought her to my arms in the beginning, the death of the little blonde girl.. I reached my hand out to her and smiled kindly.
