Time To Wake Up

Ciel's POV

I was sleeping peacefully with Jade curled up to my side. My dreams were empty as usual but i was content and happy as i had my arm holding jade to me. Then the sun streaked in with the all too familiar voice of Sebastian filling the room. I groaned and blinked my eyes open and looked over at the curtains as he spoke.

"Good morning young master, the time is already ten o'clock. I have prepared you earl grey for your morning tea and some rose tea for Lady Jade. You have a business meeting with a local journalist to discuss the company's future today at one o'clock."

I sighed annoyed and looked at jade. I smiled as she groaned and tried to bury her face into my side.

"Turn off that ghastly light dear.. its too early to wake up.."

I chuckled and gently brushed my fingers through her hair as i whispered.

"That light is the sun my dear... Its ten o'clock.. we have to get up now."

Jade lifted her head up slightly and looked at me with a sleepy daze. It was so adorable i couldn't help but kiss her head. She whined and rubbed her face on my chest.

"No... i don't want to... i want to stay in bed.."

This idea suited me very much, but i needed to attend that meeting. I had put it off too many times. I sighed and sat up in bed letting her fall off and land on the pillow behind me. I rubbed my eyes and held my hand out for my tea. I couldn't help but chuckle as a thought crossed my mind. I am 17 years old.. and I'm still getting wake up calls from my butler. I sipped the tea slowly and sighed as i became more awake. I set the cup down on the saucer and looked at Sebastian.

"My clothes better be back in my closet Sebastian... go and bring us s-"

The door opened and lucius entered with a cart carrying two plates with lids covering them.

"Young Mistress you need to wake up."

I looked back at jade and smirked as she whined and hugged the pillow to her.

"Nnn... no .. you can't make me.."

I looked back at Lucius wondering how he would react and i was surprised that he sighed.

"Mistress don't make me drag you out of bed....again."

"Nnn.. go away lucius.. I'm trying to sleep."

She threw a pillow at him and i couldn't help but laugh as i handed the cup back to Sebastian.

"Sebastian give me my clothes."

Sebastian nodded and I stood out of the bed and let him dress me. As soon as i was dressed which was quicker than usual, i made my way to the bedside and kissed jade's head softly whispering.

"I hope you wake up soon."

She smiled and nuzzled more into the pillow and i left chuckling at the frustrated look on lucius's face. I made my way down the hall and entered my office. I went to my chair and sat down, the smile never left my face and i began skimming through the paperwork on my desk.

"Young master.. you seem to be in good spirits.. might i ask why?"

I looked up at him and despite my best efforts, i couldn't help but smile.

"Last night was the best night.. of my life."

And with that i refused to answer anymore questions as i tried to finish my work so that maybe i could return to her and we could do it again.

Back in the Room

Jade's POV
Ciel had left and now i was left alone with Lucius... My heart fluttered when i thought of his name and i tried to bury my face into the pillow.
