Lisa's POV
I looked down at the ground when he asked me that. I didn't want to remember any of it. It was hard for me. But I have to tell him.

"Yes, I do know how your brother died. Now, before I tell you what happened, you have to promise me that you'll try to not blame me for happened. I also hope that you understand why I did what I did." I said and looked at him.

"Ok." He says, his voice filled with confusion.

I cleared my throat before starting.

"You're brother and I had gone out a long time ago. Like, probably 3 months ago maybe. He was very happy with me in the beginning but then things started getting rough between us. Then, about 2 months ago, he started abusing me. He abused me, called me some unforgettable names, and he also started getting really controlling. Then, I met Dean. Dean, that guy that was here earlier, you two were amazing friends. You two were inseparable. Anyway, I met Dean and he was extremely nice when I first met him. But, that day that Dean and I went on our first date, your brother had found me and threatened to kill me. Dean got protective over me but then Ryan started beating up Dean. You came a few minutes later and started beating him up. You two yelled at each other. The last thing he said was "I'll find her and kill her" but, he didn't find me until yesterday at my apartment. He found me and he had a knife in his hand. I called you as soon as possible and you told me that you would be there soon and for me to just hide in the bathroom. You arrived and he was hovering over me with the knife only a few inches away from my chest. You sprang into action and started fighting Ryan. Then, things got violent between you two and he ended up having the upper hand in the fight. You were on the bathroom floor and he was banging your head violently against the tile floor. I picked up the knife that he had earlier and I stabbed him in the back. I killed your brother to save you, Cas. You were literally dying. So, I called Dean to get to my apartment and we rushed you to the hospital as fast as we could. When we arrived, you were barely breathing and you had already lost a lot of blood." I explained to him through tears that I didn't realize had been running down my face.

"I'm so sorry, Cas. I just didn't know what to do and I couldn't just let you die." I said as more tears ran down my face.

"Lisa, it's ok. Come here." Cas said and had his arms out.

I walked over to him and he embraced me tightly.

"I'm not mad at you, Lisa. I'm very thankful for what you did for me. You saved my life. That's the greatest thing anyone could ask for." He said as I cried into his chest.

"Calm down, Lisa. It's ok." He said as he rubbed my back gently.

I nodded into his chest but I still didn't think it was ok. I stopped crying and he let go of me. I wiped away my tears and Gabriel hugs me.

Dean's POV
I arrive back at work and walk in. I walk up to my boss and tell him that I need to talk to him. He says ok and we go into his office.

"Mr.Crowley, I'm very sorry about the way I've been rushing in and out of here these last couple of days. It's just that, I've been going through a rough time lately and I just needed to take care of some things. But, that's not the real reason why I wanted to talk to you, sir. I wanted to tell you that I'm quitting. I'm sorry, sir. But, this isn't the best thing for me right now." I explained.

"Are you sure you want to quit, Mr.Winchester?" He asked.

"Yes sir, that's what I want. I just feel like I need to be doing something else with my life." I explained.

"Well, I just have to say that I will miss you working with us. I hope you find that something else." He said before we began walking out of his office.

"Goodbye, sir." I said and shook his hand before leaving.

I got in the Impala and breathed out a sigh of relief. I started Baby and immediately took off towards the hospital again.

I got to the hospital and went to Cas' hospital room. I walk in and smile.

"Why are you so happy right now?" Lisa asked.

"I just quit my job!" I said excitedly.

"Dean, you need money to pay for things." Lisa pointed out.

"Don't worry, I already know what I want to do for my next job." I said, smiling at Cas.

He just looked at me confused.

"Cas, I know you don't remember me but let me just say, you have literally changed my entire world." I said and smiled again.

He looked at me, still confused. He opens his mouth and speaks.

"Lisa said earlier that we were best friends. That we were inseparable. Is that true?" He asks me.

"Yes, that's very true. We pretty much did everything together." I said and smiled, all the memories of Cas and I running through my head.
