Cas' POV
I decided that I was going to go for a swim today. So, I put on my swimsuit and jumped into the pool. Dean was already at work so it was only me and Lisa home. I was only in the pool for a few minutes when Lisa came outside.
"Hey, Cas." She said.
"Hey Lisa, what's up?" I asked.
"I think I'm going to look for a job today." She explained.
"Awesome, maybe Dean can get you a job being a lifeguard." I suggested.
"Actually, I was thinking more about working at the cafe near the beach." She explained.
"That's also nice. Well, I hope you get the job." I smiled.
"Thanks, see you later. Bye, Cas." She said with a smile.
"Bye, Lisa. See you later." I said and waved goodbye.
She waved back and left.
I went back to swimming and did some laps in the pool.
Lisa's POV
I went to the cafe and walked in. I asked for the manager and I asked him if he was still hiring. He said yes and he told me to fill out some paperwork. So, I filled it out and once I finished I handed back to him. He said he would get back to me in 2 to 3 days and let me know if I got the job or not. I said ok.
As I was turning around I accidentally bumped into someone. I looked up at the person.
It was a man and he looked exactly like Cas. Like, he had the same facial features, same hair color and hair style, etc.
"I'm so sorry, are you ok?" I asked.
He chuckled lightly. "Yeah, I'm fine."
"Ok, good." I said.
This was kind of awkward. He cleared his throat.
"So, you got a name?" He asked.
I looked up at him.
"M-my name's Lisa. What's yours?" I asked.
Why was I so nervous around him?
"My name's Jimmy." He introduced himself.
"It's nice to meet you." He continued.
"T-thanks." I said with a smile.
I looked him up and down. He was wearing black dress pants, a white button down shirt, a blue tie that was backwards, a trench coat, and dress shoes.
"So, you going to work or something?" I asked.
"I don't have a job yet. I just moved here from Texas, so I'm doing some job searching right now and I was thinking about working here. This looks like a nice place to work." He explained.
I nodded and told him that I just applied here.
"Cool, maybe we'll be working buddies." He chuckled lightly.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"Alright, well I'll let you go apply. I'm have to get going." I explained.
"Alright. Well it was nice meeting you, Lisa." He smiled.
"It was nice meeting you, too." I smiled back.
I was walking out of the cafe when...
"Hey Lisa, wait." I heard Jimmy say.
I turned around and said, "yeah?"
He walked up to me and spoke again.
"Are you doing anything this weekend? Maybe we could get a drink?" He asked.
We locked eyes and I saw hope in his eyes.
"S-sure. When and where?" I asked.
"There's this bar on the beach that I want to try out. As for the time, maybe 7:30-8:00?" He asked.
"That sounds good to me. Maybe we should do 8:00 for drinks." I said and he nods.
"Cool. Here, let's exchange phone numbers and I'll talk to you later." He said.
"Sounds good." I smiled.
We swapped phones and put each other's numbers in each other's phones. I gave him his phone back and he gave me my phone back. Then, we said bye and I walked out of the cafe.
Once I walked out of the cafe I immediately went to Dean. I had to tell him what just happened.
~5 minutes later~
I arrived at the beach and went up to where Dean was.
"Dean!" I called.
He looked down and climbed down from the lifeguard chair when he saw me.
"Hey Lisa, what's up?" He asked with a smile.
"Dean, you're never going to believe what just happened." I rushed out.
"What happened?" He asked.
"I just saw a guy who looked exactly like Cas, like his face and everything, and he said his name was Jimmy. In any case, he asked me out to get a drink with him. We also exchanged phone numbers so he'll probably tell me what day he wants to go out and get drinks." I explained.
"That's awesome and all Lisa, but just be careful. I don't want you to get hurt by this guy." He said.
"He's so nice and I do like him a lot. I think he likes me too but then again he might just be being nice." I said.
"Well, if he wants to get a drink with you, then he probably just doesn't want to be friends. From what you explained, it sounds like he's totally into you, but still, just be careful. I really don't want you to see you get hurt again." He explained.
I nodded and we hugged.
"I'm happy you found someone that you like." He said.
"Thanks, Dean." I said.
We let go of each other and he smiled at me.
"Oh, I asked signed up for a job at the cafe near the beach. They told me they would get back to me in 2 to 3 days." I explained.
"That's great." He smiled.
"Alright, I have to get back up in the lifeguard chair. We'll talk later and you can tell me about your day later on." Dean explained.
I nodded and we said our goodbyes before I walked to Dean's house.
