Meg's POV
After that accident with the current of the ocean, mostly everyone was pretty scared to go back in. The people that did go in stayed near the shore. People with children kept their kids close to them.
{7:30 P.M}
It was time for everyone to go back home so everyone clocked out and drove home. Everyone except for Dean and I.
"Hey Dean, you wanna come take a swim with me?" I asked.
"Sure, but just a quick one. Let me call Cas first and tell him that I'm going to take a swim." He said.
I nodded and started walking towards the water. I took off my shirt and ran into the ocean.
I relaxed for a few seconds be...
"AAHH! OMG, Dean! You scared the daylights out of me." I said and put my hand over my heart.
"I'm so sorry." He laughed.
"Are you ok?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I replied.
Then, I felt something rub against my leg. I got scared again.
"Dean, is that your tail rubbing again my leg?" I said slowly.
"No." He said slowly.
"Maybe it's just seaweed, right?" I said shaking my fear away.
"Right. It's probably just seaw..."
I was being dragged underwater and away from the shore. I tried to kick the thing that was dragging me but it was no use. The thing now was dragging me deeper and deeper into the ocean.
I struggled to catch my breath and soon my body gave up. My body went limp.
Dean's POV
While the thing was dragging Meg away I was going after it. I didn't know what it was. Even with my merman night vision I still wasn't able to make out what it was. I tried to catch up with the thing but it was twice as fast as I was. I tried using my merman speed to try to catch up with it but it was no use. It was way too fast.
But even though it was faster than me I still went after it. Then, I felt something zip fast me.
Unknown POV
I zip through the water and make my way towards the girl that's being dragged by the underwater demon. It was like the underwater dragon but the underwater demon was a lot more dangerous and more evil.
The underwater dragon demon only goes after humans while the underwater dragon only goes after mer people.
Anyway, I keep making my way towards the girl and her body goes limp in the demon's grip. I swim faster and I plan on colliding with the demon so that I can knock the girl out of his grip and quickly grab the girl after that.
So, that's what I did. Although it didn't exactly end up going the way I wanted it to. I mean, I did end of colliding with him and I did knock the girl out of his grip. But, the demon punched me in the stomach and I flew backwards. I soon regained focus and started swimming towards the girl. The demon was about to grab the girl before there was a yellow light. Almost like lightning.
I looked up and I saw a merman, but it wasn't just any merman, it was the King of all Oceans.
The King of all Oceans had stricken the demon and got rid of it for good. I swam straight for the girl and grabbed her as fast as I could. Then, once I had her I rushed up to the surface and swam to shore.
I put her down on the sand and started performing CPR on her. After four tries of mouth to mouth and pressing down on the chest, she finally woke up and started coughing up water.
Dean's POV
After I got rid of, whatever that thing was, I swam up to the surface and started swimming towards the shore. Meg was on the shore and she was awake. I get on the shore and dry myself off. Then, I get up and walk over to Meg.
"Meg, are you ok?" I asked.
She nods but she doesn't say anything.
"I think we should go. I'm going to drive you home. Come on." I said.
She nodded and put her shirt back on. She got her phone from the lifeguard pavilion and I got my stuff. Once we were ready to go I showed her to my car and we got in.
Meg's POV
I checked my phone and it was 8:30. I also had 14 missed calls from Zachariah.
Shit.
I slid my phone open and called him back. One ring and he picked up.
"Meg, are you ok?" He asked worriedly.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'll either tell you about it later or tomorrow." I explained.
"I've been trying to get a hold of you for 45 minutes. I was really worried about you. But, I'm glad you're ok." He said.
"I'm sorry for worrying you." I apologized.
"It's ok. Hey, do you still want me to come over tonight or do you want to just see me tomorrow?" He asked.
"You can come over tonight. I don't really want to be alone tonight." I said.
"Alright, I'll be at your house in 10 minutes. Are you home right now?" He asked.
"No, Dean's driving me home right now. I'll explain all of this later." I told him.
"Ok. Well, I'll see you when you get to your house. Bye." He said.
"Bye." I said before handing up.
I smiled and my heart felt at ease.
~10 minutes later~
We arrived at my house and Zachariah was just pulling up. I thanked Dean for the ride home and got out of the car. I waved bye and he waved back. Then, he pulled out of my driveway and drove home.
"Hey Meg." Zachariah said as he hugged me.
"Hey, thanks for coming." I said.
"Of course." He smiled.
I smiled back and we went inside. I locked the door once we were inside and then we sat on the couch.
"God, a lot happened today and it was just crazy." I said and put my head on his shoulder.
"Aww Meg, don't worry it's ok." He said wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"I just want to go to sleep." I told him.
"Ok." He said.
I lied down and put my head on his lap. He then started playing with my hair. I soon fell asleep.
Zachariah's POV
Looks like the thing that I have to tell her is going to have to wait until tomorrow.
I look down at Meg and she's fast asleep. God, she's so perfect in every way. She's so beautiful and peaceful when she's sleeping.
My eyes get heavy and I soon fall asleep as well.
