Gibbs P.O.V.
McGee and Abby now have a wonderful family. Their children are adorable, and soon they'll be married. I don't want to ruin their moment and tell them what happened to Ziva. I step out of the room and dial Dinozzo's number.
Ring... Ring... "Hey Boss.", Tony says, answering the phone.
"Tony how is she? Is she alright?? How about the baby??", I ask frantically.
Tony sighs heavily before answering. " They are both alive. I have a daughter, and she's gorgeous, Boss. Ziva made it through surgery but I thought I was going to lose her a couple times. The doctor said her heart stopped 6 times while she was on the table. 6 TIMES Boss! She almost died, and now she can't remember anything from the last 10 years.", Tony sniffles into the phone," I just don't know what I'm going to do. How's Abby and Probie doing?"
I can hear the pain in Dinozzo's voice as he changes the subject. I answer him, and tell him we'll be home soon. Abby and the twins have to stay at least a couple more days, and I'd like to break the news about Ziva to them when we get back.
Let's hope by then Zivers memory returns. Hang in their Ziver!
