It's been a long month and a half since all of the crazy shit that's been going on with me and my team finally ended. Tony recovered quicker than any of us had expected, and even though Ziva told him not to, he came back to work after only being home for two days. Palmer's surgery went smoothly and he's back in autopsy now; Ducky's thumb was reattached perfectly and according to Duck, it works better than ever. Abby and McGee are taking to parenthood like a bird takes to flying, slow and nervous at first but quickly mastering it. Same with Tony and Ziva. Tony and Ziva named their little bundle of joy ,Tali, after Ziva's sister. Tali is beautiful, she has Tony's eyes and Zivas long, dark hair. Abby and McGee have their hands full with TJ (Timothy Jr.) and Kelly but with the help of family they found a way to make it all work.
Today, I woke up to a call from Leon, saying that there was a dead naval officer at 12236 N. Maple St. I memorized the address and called my team. I'm so glad that everything is back to normal, or so I thought.
