''How warm is it?'' Meredith inquired through the phone, placed skillfully between my shoulder and ear, as I poured some lemon water in my glass. I glanced outside where he sun was beaming through the open and trailed a line of fiery light across the granite floor. With the doors open, I could hear the faint chirps of birds and Niall's loud laughter overshadowing the others.

''I'm only wearing a crop top with some jeans shorts. Enough information?''

I smiled as she groaned, obviously jealous at me. ''How is it in London?''

''Boring,'' she sighed. ''Especially without you here. And is snowing really badly, I haven't gone out this whole day. I'm going to visit my parents next week for Christmas, so that's at least one thing to look forward to. What are you doing with Christmas?''

I took a sip of my lemon water as I walked towards the door, my gaze fixed on the guys whom where jumping in the pool and trying to drown each other.

''Not sure yet. My mother asked if me and Niall wanted to come, but I'm not sure what Niall has planned with his parents. I'd love for him to come and meet them but I don't want to force him.''

''Has he ever met them?''

''Yes once, but under totally different circumstances,'' I replied as I kept staring at Niall whom was currently trying to do a back flip but he was failing miserably. When I couldn't hold my laughter in, his gaze was shot upon me and his lips began to form a goofy smirk. ''It was at Eliza's funeral, but it was a brief conversation about their loss.''

''Oh, yeah..,'' she answered, a little unsure of what to say about that.

''It's weird how it is almost Christmas and I'm here walking around in jeans shorts,'' I brought up to lighten up the mood. I noticed that Niall came up to me, immideately bringing a smile on my face.

''Shut up, I'm already jealous no need to bring it up again, trust me.''

''Sorry,'' I said laughing as Niall cupped my face, trying to get my attention.

''Who is it?'' he whispered and as I told him it was Meredith, he just nodded before planting a wet kiss on my nose.

''Let me guess, an Irish guy is distracting you right now,'' she guessed as I laughed at Niall kissing every part of my face.

''Something like that.''

''It's fine, I'll talk to you later. Love you!'' She said and after I told her the same she hung up.

''You're annoying,'' I lied to him as I put my phone aside.

''Don't say things you'll regret later,'' he warned, holding his index finger up.

''I'm not regretting anything,'' I teased and as I reached out the grab my glass, his arms where already wrapped around my waist and as I screamed in surrender, my body was already surrounded by water. As I came out up, Niall's roaring laughter filled the air, along with the rest of the boys.

''Dick,'' I muttered and Niall tried to make up by helping me get out of the pool, but as soon as my feet where touching the grass, I roughly pushed him back in.

''Don't do things you'll regret later,'' I mocked as I perched down on a wooden chair which stood next to the open kitchen door. I closed my eyes, enjoying the sun beaming down on my face. I could feel the sun bronzing my skin as the water droplets slowly evaporated off of my body.

''We're going out tonight,'' Niall stated as he drew himself up to his full height, blocking out the sun and casting a shadow over me.

''What? Where?'' I asked confused as I tossed him a towel to dry himself up.
