Ginny's POV

"Harry?" Ginny asked, concernedly. He was swaying back and forth, his eyes wide with pain, clutching his forehead.

"I'm fine!" Harry said, a bit too forcefully, looking sweaty. He grasped the arm of a sofa and lowered himself onto it, while Ginny moved closer, worried.

"Mate, your scar...it's bright red, like it's new," Ron gaped.

The scar was pulsing like it was fresh. It was painful to look at. Ginny grasped his hand, but he shook her off and probed at his scar, like if he was trying to push back the pain.

Harry Potter.

I know of your friendsssssssss and my followerssssssss have gone back in time.

Give up now and the Mudbloodsssss death will be quick. Usse a sssspell to bring them back and I will sssspare you and the blood-traitor family.

You have been warned.

The Parseltongue just sounded like a bunch of hissing to Ron and Ginny, the only other ones in the common room.

"What did he say?" Ginny urged, looking sickly pale. "Quick, Harry, what happened?"

"He knows! Voldermort knows, we've got to do something, her life is in danger, what do we do?" Harry rambled, looking scared out of his mind.

"Alright, take a deep breath," Ginny told him, covering his hands with her own. "Now, block your mind from him. Use the Occo-whatever lessons."

Harry took a deep breath and steadied himself. "Okay. But what do we do about 'Mione!?"

Above his own life, Harry always valued his friends, Ginny reflected. Harry couldn't care less if Voldemort was threatening him, but when it came to his friends, Harry was hopelessly protective.

"We can send a note back!" Ron suggested, oblivious to the looks everyone was giving him.

"Ron, we all know that we can't do that!" Harry cried exasperatedly, wringing his hands in the air.

"What? Why not? I thought we could use a house elf, because they have different magic!" Ron defends himself, looking lost.

"That - that actually may work! Ron! House elves magic is way stronger than ours!" Ginny squealed excitedly, then cried, "Candy!"

A little house elf appeared in front of them with a large crack. She was wearing a peppermint pillowcase and her large eyes were curious.

"What will Miss Ginny be requiring of Candy today?" the little thing asked, looking fondly at Ginny. "Possibly a pumpkin pastry, a pie? Candy can do it!"

"I met Candy at my first time sneaking down to the kitchens. She knows just what I like, and she always helps me," Ginny explained.

The elf grinned at them, showing them two gaps in her teeth. She looked very innocent in her pillowcase with a little bow perched upon her head.

"Uh, well, Candy could you help us?" Harry asked the elf.

The elf beamed even wider. "Yes Master Potter! Candy will help!" the elf agreed, looking very pleased.

"Well, can you send a note to my friend?" Harry asked her, very gently.

"Yes Master! Candy will be needing the person's name!" Candy nodded.
