Draco's POV

Draco woke up with a pounding headache.

That wasn't good.

The other thing that definitely wasn't good was that when Draco saw Seamus and Dean, he wondered why they weren't kissing.

Yeah.

Definitely not good.

All of the memories that he had been trying to push away yesterday night started to pound at his head without mercy. They slipped through the gaps of his armor against them and started to multiply, making Draco start to link everything else to... then.

Dean was watching him with wary eyes. "Mate, you goo - "

"Do you like Seamus?" He blurted out.

Definitely not good.

Dean stopped moving. Draco was almost certain he stopped breathing. Seamus started to clench and unclench his fist.

"Did my mum tell you?" Seamus questioned, his voice low.

"Why in the name of Merlin would your mum tell me about your dating life? Why in Merlin's soggy underpants would I even talk to your mum?" Draco asked, shaking his head. "I only know because - "

Because in an earlier life, no not that earlier life, the first one, I passed you guys kissing behind a tapestry, except I didn't say anything about it because I thought Seamus was a girl because he was wearing that dumb Eliza Schuyler costume with a wig since it was Halloween.

Even if they were in the right time period, that would've still sounded very weird.

"I guessed," Draco shrugged, trying to play it off.

Dean sighed. "Well, if it was that obvious - "

"It wasn't!" Draco assured them. "I just have a great eye."

Seamus uncomfortably glanced at him. "Um, you missed breakfast. Good thing today's Saturday or the teachers would eat you for dinner."

Draco wrinkled his brow. "What?"

Dean quickly took the attention away from Seamus. "Well, since you know about us, would you answer if I asked you if you and 'Mione were a couple? You have that special pet name for her and all."

"Aww," Seamus cooed.

Draco blushed. He couldn't very well say -

Well, I hated her in my first life, then I got sent back in time and I kind of fell in love with her, but then time was reset and then I became her friend, and then now I kind of feel a lot more than 'friendly' to her.

"We're not a couple," Draco said, regretfully.

Regretfully?

Regretfully.

Regretfully... ?

Regretfully.

Draco Malfoy, for the second time in his three lives, was falling in love with Hermione Granger.

Oh, turtles.

Turtles?

Turtles.

Turtles... ?

Turtles.

"Oi, mate, stop zoning out. Harry's been waiting for you to wake up for the longest time. I think he's going to blow a fuse if you make him wait any longer," Seamus cautioned, seemingly having come to terms about Draco knowing about their relationship.
