"Scorpius! Scorpius!"
"What is it now, Bianca?"
"It's my first day, Scor! I'm about to board the Hogwarts Express for the first time!"
"Well, that's great and all, but does it look like I care?" Scorpius Malfoy, the eldest of Hermione and Draco's children, was about to enter his sixth year.
Bianca Malfoy, the youngest of the three children, pouted. "But - "
"It's my sixth year," Scorpius informed her importantly. "I'll have a lot to do, and - "
Elara Malfoy appeared through the brick wall, panting. She would be entering her third year this year. "Break it up!" she called, rolling her eyes. "And Scorpius," she said, pausing, "Mum did two hundred times more than you'll ever do in sixth year."
"You have no idea," Hermione sighed, wheeling Bianca's cart. "Seriously."
All her kids raised an eyebrow at her, but she was spared from having to answer any more questions when her husband, Draco, showed up, looking annoyed.
"The Weasleys are here," he groaned. "All of them. And the Potters."
"The Weasleys!" Bianca squealed. "I get to see them every day! And Lily is being Sorted with me!"
The entire Weasley clan made their way up to them, with dozens of carts and cussing as they bumped into each other.
" - pardon - "
" - out of my way, you git - "
" - Ron, don't say that - "
" - bloody - "
" - Merlin, out of my way - "
" - oi, it's the Malfoys - "
"Hey," Scorpius winked at Rose Weasley, who immediately turned an angry shade of red.
"I'm going to find my friends," she announced hotly to everyone. "Bye Mum, Dad." She gave Ron and his sweet Muggle wife, Alexa, a kiss, then stormed off to the train.
"I'm going to - " Scorpius widened his eyes, trying to convey a message. He gave everyone a wink and rushed off, calling Rose's name.
The two families chuckled, well accustomed to the long lasting hate-love relationship between the two.
"Hey, sorry we're late!" Ginny ran up, looking a little frazzled. Lily, a first year like Bianca, was clinging nervously to their cart, but smiled a little when Bianca started to animatedly talk to her. Their elder son, James had already gone ahead into the train, no doubt to pull some pranks. Albus was also with them, rolling his eyes as he made his way after a love-struck Scorpius.
Hugo Weasley, the youngest son of Ron, looked like he was going to be sick.
"Hugo, what is it?" Ginny demanded. "Please don't tell me you're nervous for the Sorting?"
"I'm - " Hugo said softly. "I - "
"For the love of Merlin, Hugo, you'll get into Gryffindor if that's what you're worried about! And if not, well, your grandmother will be very disappointed, because she's already knitted the sweaters for Christmas! And you'll be a disappointment to all the Malfoys, Weasleys, Pott - "
"Oh, Merlin," Hermione rolled her eyes and took Hugo by the hand. "Hugo, which house do you want to be in?"
Hugo murmured something softly.
"Hugo, you're going to have to speak - "
"Slytherin," Hugo said, talking very fast. He looked ashamed as he glanced up at his parents.
