For those who haven't read twilight and its series this chapter might be helpful for you to understand more about the Cullens but I'm sure most of you might have read it and would have no problem understanding my story .

Three sickening days had passed since  I was informed of the grief- stricken news .When I had caught those dreadful images of Seth bleeding and whining in Jacob's head, I felt I had been disconnected from my body .

All I could think was how I could be this careless and  let Seth alone in peril. Wasn't he my responsibility ??

Distantly I had heard Jacob calling my name .
He's gonna live Leah...He kept repeating the words forcing it to penetrate my thick skull.
He's gonna live ?? What do you mean ?You sound like he's fighting between life and death !
He is!
I heard my heart racing and I flattened my ears shaking my head to and fro trying ease my pain and dread but how could I ??
Jacob remained silent for a few minutes giving me time to come back to myself , hoping that my mind would protect itself .

I blinked rapidly and focused my thoughts on Jacob .
I want to see if he's going to be alright.I have to see it for myself .
Um...sure he said hesitantly.
But he's not anymore in La push.

Oh ! I said realising it a little too late .Seth must have been taken to the Cullens .

Since he was a werewolf there was no way they could take him to the doctor and get ourselves exposed to the humans but he couldn't be  lying on the bed whining with pain without getting his wounds dressed either.

Cullens were the unique coven of vampires who had trespassed our land almost a century ago . I had heard the stories that our great great grandfather had spared that particular coven ,for they were different from the other vampires since they never hunted humans and instead fed from animal blood .

Moreover a few of the younger ones attended high school like other humans trying to blend in with them just like we did .

The oldest of them all was a doctor in the tiny town of Forks for years .
This piece of information had made me sick and I was perplexed but when I seen his and his family's eyes ,that's when I believed him .
They all had golden ones instead of the bloody red eyes that proved that they never touched human blood.

And now Seth had been ushered to their home where Dr Carlisle would tend to him.

Though the werewolves and the Cullens had come to a truce, I still couldn't digest the thought of Seth under the supervision of a vampire.

I had always maintained a distance when it came to Cullens but the boys over a period of time had learnt to grow closer with them.

There was no way I would enter that stinking vampire house .But Seth on the other hand had no problem with them .On the contrary he loved them ,especially the bronze headed vampire Edward .
