I spent a exquisite morning ,the following day , shopping with Renzo and my family.

I never knew Renzo had it in him , to spend an entire morning and several hours after noon doing nothing but driving around the city, walking through the throng in the streets,  buying accessories, clothes, and playing video games with Theo, smacking Seth in the shoulder as they shared jokes and talking nineteen to the dozen whenever the topic of football arised.

Meanwhile I  was pondering how best to make my nephew like me .He was too preoccupied tittle-tattling with his mom and Renzo that he never really paid attention to me.

I bought  the latest version of a Nintendo 3DS available in the market that Theo mentioned he craved for and a few toys for my  niece who was still yet to be born .

It was also decided that Renzo was accompanying us to the Thanksgiving and also had booked tickets for himself and my family in the same plane I had .

I was scared that I was beginning to like Renzo only more and more . Each and every second I spent with him , I believed this wasn't a pretence and that we were truly dating . I was hoping he would disappoint me in one way or the other which would make it easier for me to get over him .

And as for him, he wasn't any different from what he had been before , making me guess, he did not really share any feelings for me .
I refused to give that a thought since I had promised myself to discard  pettifogging thoughts from my head that only hurt .

But I did feel bad for his mother though who was on cloud nine when she realized he was spending the day with my family . She believed her son had finally fallen in love . I knew she was silently waiting to get him married and I too shared her thoughts , only - I hoped the bride would be none other than me .

A few paparazzi did take a few pictures of us but we were soon out of sight before they could follow us .

It looked like he too had been a little annoyed with their presence today if I wasn't wrong .

But luckily that didn't drown our lively mood as we stopped at a sumptuous restaurant to have our lunch .

I was finished with my Italian skillet chicken, when I received a call from Ed .

He said he had to discuss a matter of utmost significance that I couldn't accompany the rest with the shopping  , and so I was here now - at the Roche's , recalling the day's events  with a smile tugging on my lips .

"Are you even listening to me ?" Ed spoke and I blinked before focusing my stare on him as he paced in the living room .

"I'm sorry .I spaced out .Can you come again?" I asked hurriedly .

He narrowed his eyes a little before replying ." Pay attention. " I nodded asking him to continue but he just stood stock-still except for the deep breadths .

"What is it Ed?" I asked dragging my words .When the silence lengthened , it only made me anxious and I started grumbling.

"Fine .Its nothing? I'm go-" I started as I got to my feet and he abruptly stopped me by pushing me back to the porch.

"What the-"

"I kissed her ." he whispered too low but I caught it.

"Who?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Aeryn. Of course .I kissed her .Finally ."

"How?...  No! Don't answer that ! Um...When ?"

"This morning , when she came to our house asking for Sarah ."
