'What's wrong??'I screamed in my head the moment I phased .
I was inundated with flurried thoughts the very next second and I almost recoiled with the sudden heavy feeling.
This can't be happening...
But the fortuneteller told -
Why the town?
They're going against their own laws!??!!!??
This makes absolutely no sense !!!!
What do we do??
The jumbled, unnerving thoughts of my pack wasn't helping me analyze the situation .
When I reached the thickest of the trees where everyone had gathered , I nudged Collin with my comparatively small wolf body.
What's going in? Are there more attacks? I asked him .
No, the town's under attack. We don't know just yet if it's a diversion!
SILENCE!!!!! Jacob's alpha roar shook our thoughts, making us focus on his orders that were to come.
Listen, closely. We have no time to discuss why the abruptly chose to attack now when Alice foresaw them to make an appearance at least a day after ....But we have to improvise! Everyone to the town,NOW!
But we would be exposed ! I think that's what they're trying to do. La Push would no more be our home if their plans work!
Finn- one of the youngest in the pack contradicted. He did have a point ."No, Jacob."Edward's voice pierced our heads .
My burning nose told me the Cullens had joined us .
" We'll look after it. Aro knows our weakness and he's holding on to it. We can't afford to let you get exposed ." he continued reading Jacob's thoughts.
Alright .Its settled then. We attack their guards and leave the Volturi to the Cullens .You guys know what to do.
Jacob ordered and we dispersed .
I ran parallel with the twins through the muddy, rough forest floor to make it to the clearing past the trees, were the Volturi's guards awaited for our move .While Jacob led few of the others, to the frontier,we were to attack from the back .
