"You're zoning out again!"Cami's accusing words woke me up from the reverie for the umpteenth time.

I blinked and glanced at the window , catching sight of the sparkling green and blue coloured sea.

The day had finally arrived . One which I had been yearning for years and  one which also shook me like a leaf .

The wedding day!

My wedding day...

Drew Jenkins insisted that the venue ought to be the height of modern glamour since it might be appearing in the newspapers and so, we were here - in a hidden paradise, with it's own island and great landscapes providing breathtaking view. With clear blue Italian skies with colourful clouds and the mesmerising view of the sun rising from the mediteranian sea, I was pretty sure the guests did not mind waiting for the bride to make an appearance.

My hands smoothed down the white ivory satin of my gown before getting down  to my feet to give myself a once over. My lush locks that spilled over my shoulder was now in a sleek and smooth low updo and finished with a minimalist, modern diamond and pearl barrette. The illusion neckline lace wedding gown, with dropped waist emphasized every curve in  my body which I had maintained after several hours in gym with Renzo.

"You look beautiful"Cami whispered and I mumbled a soft thanks but she must have noticed that my smile hadn't quite reached my eyes.

"Let me guess...wedding jitters?"

"I..I don't know..."I whispered hoping not to sweat and ruin my makeup.

"Do you want to call him?"She gave me a warm smile.

"What? But I would be seeing him myself in a few minutes."

"Yes. But clearly something's bothering you. Get it out of chest ."With that she turned to exit the room .

A moment after staring at her retreating figure, I called out for her.

"Yes?"

"You look amazing ,Cami. "I complimented noticing for the first time that she wasn't  in her usual conservative clothes and was instead in a sapphire blue empire waist gown.

"Thanks."She blushed, tugging her hair behind her ear.

Nodding at the phone clutched in my cold fingers , she spoke: "Call him."

"I guess I will. It'll only take a minute. Sorry to keep you waiting ."

"Um...actually I have a date waiting .Besides Seth's just outside the room."

"A date?"I whispered surprised at the news, just as she shut the door behind her slowly.

When I was finally alone in the room, I called him.

I wasn't sure he could receive my call  since he must be at the altar already . My doubts vapourized the moment he picked my call after the second ring .

"What's taking my bride so long?"He sounded ebullient and happy.

I chuckled nervously. "Renzo..."

"Yep.That's me."He agreed cheerfully .

"What is it?"he asked when I didn't reply .

"It's nothing really." I said hurriedly before he assumed the worst.

"Tell me, Leah!"

"I-I'm nervous!" I exclaimed.

"Of course. So am I " He chortled but I paid attention to the pinch of nervousness he's trying to hide .He must be just as keyed up as I was.
