It was Monday morning and I was running late for work. Thanks to Seth who was more or less a frenzied little puppy that unquestionably needed to be tamed .

The previous day when I planned to go shopping to get the groceries for the week, I asked him if he could accompany me instead of sitting idly at home . It was not more than an hour when I realized it was my biggest mistake !

Sickened by his down at heel appearance for the past two months that he stayed with me,  we decided to stop by JCPenney-one of the best department store in the city .

I suggested he try anything new and branded and it looked like he  took my word seriously when he not only  tried on everything from Van Heusen 's to Arizona's brand or Calvin Klein's jeans to Giorgio Arman's suits but made sure the bill came up to nearly five thousand dollars thereby draining my debit card.

And around ten when we reached home , he grabbed a packet of his favorite smokey bacon flavored Pringles and vanished behind the door not before throwing me a lopsided grin as though reading my fuming thoughts.

And today I woke up to find my car missing , I had no other choice but to reach my work place on foot all the while cursing Seth for his vexed behavior.

I pushed open the door and stepped inside warily and I noticed  Hartlyn pass by me .
"Hey " I called to her .
She looked over her shoulder at me ."Your late."
"Thanks for pointing it out. I had no clue about it myself" I muttered sarcastically looking around searching for ...
"Not to worry. Looks like Mr Duncan's planning not to show his ugly face today.
" Thank god " I breathed out .
My manager had a temper when it came to his employee's late arrival.

I was yet to perform  financial analysis of a few accounts whose due was on last  Saturday.

No sooner had I made myself comfortable on my counter , I heard a irritatingly familiar rhythm of footsteps approach me and I grimaced .

Couldn't I ever have a good day at work?

He cleared his throat informing his presence which I chose to ignore hoping that he would take it as a cue to leave .

Much to my annoyance, he didn't . Moreover he took it as an invitation to step forward and leaned his hand on my desk .

"Refreshing morning isn't it?"
Definitely not when you are still standing here.
"Hmm .You could say that"I murmured without looking at him .

" What plans for  Christmas eve?"he prodded.
"None. I don't celebrate Christmas Andy ."I tried my best not to snap at him . It was not his fault for being a douchebag but wasn't mine either to be forced into an unwelcome incessant conversation.

" Perfect. You could stop by my home . We could have fun..."
I really doubt it!
"...we could watch a movie or two and..." he continued to chunter while I  muted him completely. I hoped the neutral expression on my face wouldn't flatter  to reveal the turmoil and agitation I was facing inside.

He gave a pause after a few seconds and I realized it was my turn to say something .
"Um. I don't think I could come.  Gotta be somewhere else ..." I managed to croak .
"Oh " he said disappointed "Next time"
"Sure"
He opened his mouth once again and just then, Paige walked by us.
I looked at her sharply hoping to get her attention but her eyes where elsewhere searching for something .

Meanwhile Andy had found another topic to carry on while I was busy finding any means of getting rid of him.

Maybe I should just slip the fact that I'm a werewolf. That would send him off running and screaming.
