When I arrived home, Daniel was waiting for me at the back door with one of my own shirts and my sweatpants, I took them in my mouth and changed behind a tree, pulling on the clothes.

'Thanks,' I said, when I walked back him.

'You're welcome Luna, Christopher requests your presence in his office,' he said, escorting me there.

'Please just call me Dawn? You only have to address me as your Luna when we have guests or with something formal,' I said.

'Okay Dawn, thank you. Please know I'm absolutely behind you, being our new Luna. I believe you will hold yourself well and you will win everyones hearts,' he said.

'I sense a but coming?' I said, grinning.

'Christopher isn't angry with you for biting Craig, but I must tell you, it isn't customary for the Luna to bite one of her pack. Christopher told me why you did, so I understand, but Craig will learn to respect you, in due time. Some of the others already respected you, during your rant,' he said.

'Thank you for your advice. I will take it to heart,' I promised.

He seemed to relax, had he been afraid of me? We arrived at Christopher's office. I knocked on the door and he asked me in.

'Are you alright, Muffin?'

'Yes, I'm feeling better. I've gotten some advice from Alpha Clark and your loyal Beta. I'm sorry I bit Craig,' I said, feeling a little guilty.

'Don't be, I was prepared to hurt him even worse and he knows that,' Christopher said. 'I told him.'

'I think I'll just go look for something to eat, I've skipped breakfast and it's nearing lunchtime,' I told him.

Lunchtime, during the weekdays usually wasn't done together, some of them had to go to school, others would be working. I stepped into the kitchen, where I saw Craig fixing a sandwich.

'Craig, I want to tell you I'm sorry. I shouldn't have bitten you,' I said.

'Christopher told me I deserved it, then it must be so,' he said, finishing his sandwich and leaving the room.

He still didn't accept me, but he wasn't defying me anymore, which was progress. I made two sandwiches, one for me and the other for Christopher.

He was still working in his office, when I brought it to him.

'Thank you, darling,' he said.

'Craig won't accept me anytime soon, will he?' I asked.

'Both Craig and Tom have lost their parents to rogues. Tom was the boy that bit you in the neck,' he said.

'Are they brothers?' I asked, I hadn't seen a resemblance, but Christopher nodded yes.

'Rogues are usually bloodthirsty killers, soon killed by either a vengeful pack or vampires,' Christopher explained.

'I would never kill without a reason!' I exclaimed, but he knew that.

He pulled me close.

'Don't worry, they'll come around,' he said, kissing my stomach.

'What'll happen with the vampire threat? Will we be able to kill them all?' I asked.

'We will, but you will stay here, I'm not about to let you kill anyone anymore, you'll have more nightmares,' he said fiercely.

'I will not let you leave me, Christopher. Besides, you said you would not let me out of your sight until that horrible vampire was dead. I am coming, there is nothing you can do about it,' I said, my mind was made up.
