When I woke, I heard Christopher was taking a shower. My arm felt heavy with the cast around it. Christopher hadn’t argued with me, when I refused to drink his blood to accelerate my healing. I grabbed my sling, putting my arm in it. It had been broken in the lower part and it was still hurting me. I sat up in his bed and looked around his room, trying to find a book I might like. Christopher came out of the bathroom, only wearing his boxers. I looked at him in awe, but soon averted my eyes. Christopher chuckled.

‘Darling, you can stare as much as you want,’ he said.

‘I.. maybe..’ I felt very self conscious.

I heard him walk over to me and he sat down in front of me. I looked up at him, straight into his loving eyes.

‘Since you were staring, what do you like most about me?’ he asked, he looked at me teasingly.

‘Your eyes,’ I answered, not a moment doubt in my mind. ‘I absolutely love the amber color and the warmth that spreads through me, when you look at me.’

‘Thank you,’ he said, kissing my knee, which I had still pulled up.

‘And what do you like about me most?’ I asked.

‘Your beautiful black hair and fur, I love you being a wolf. You look amazing either way.’

‘It’ll have to wait for two more nights, only then my cast will be cut off,’ I said.

‘I can wait, I told you that before,’ he said, I felt we weren’t talking about our wolves anymore.

‘Maybe I don’t want to wait any longer,’ I whispered, gently biting my lip.

‘I’m sorry darling, I want to wait for your arm to heal,’ he said.

He pulled my legs away, so he could reach over and kissed me on the lips.

‘What would you like to do today?’ he asked.

‘Don’t you have to work?’ I asked him, knowing we were having trouble with more than this one vampire.

‘Only for an hour or so, in my office, but you will be with me that entire time,’ he said, smiling at me.

‘Could you lend me a book then? I’d be bored otherwise,’ I whispered.

‘Of course, choose whichever you like,’ he said, pulling me into a gentle hug.

The rest of our day was uneventful. Very quickly after we entered his office, it became clear that his work would keep piling up. I promised him I was fine reading, almost hidden in a corner. Some of his wolves, that came in to report, wanted me out, but he would get angry, telling them I could hear whatever they had to say. I heard so many reports about new vampires crossing his lands, it was dazzling. Alpha Clark also came by, he was the only one regarding me with a smile. The only friendly face, other than Christopher.

‘I’m glad that soon, you won’t be a rogue anymore. Lead your pack with honor,’ he had said, when he was just about to leave.

‘Thank you sir, for granting us access on your lands and for your understanding,’ I had replied.

After he left, not much people came into the office, we left each other alone, but every so often, I saw him glancing at me. It was a nice day for both of us, even though I heard several wolves complain about me becoming his Luna. They tried not to let me hear, but I had good hearing, so every time I heard them and every time Christopher would tell them, I would be a good Luna and that he expected me to be treated with respect.

‘Let’s go down for dinner,’ Christopher said, just after six.

I got to my feet and we walked down the stairs, just before we went into the diningroom, he hugged me tight.

‘You will always be my Luna,’ he whispered, kissing my mark.

‘And you my Alpha,’ I promised.

At the dinner table, many of the wolves, didn’t speak with me. Only Angel, Daniel and Christopher seemed to accept me into this pack. Maybe it would change if I mated Christopher, but that wasn’t my reason for wanting it. I was ready, he had shown me how much he loved me and I wanted to return that. We would always be together, no matter what.

After dinner, Christopher asked if I would mind him playing a game with his friends again. I didn’t mind, I would just sit in my little corner. I had asked Angel if she might have some paper for me to draw. She had, like me, a sketch block, she lent it to me so I was drawing my mate’s friends, being excited about their game. I hardly knew any names, even though I had seen everyone a few times. The woman were usually out shopping, except for Angel, she had dubbed herself the maid in the house. She kept everything clean, did the laundry for most of them and cooked every day. Today Christopher stopped playing earlier, than the day before. He took me to his bedroom.

‘We’ll do something fun tomorrow,’ he promised, when we were nearly there.

‘It’s okay honey, I had fun. I loved the book and I had time to draw,’ I said.

‘Will you show me your drawings?’ he asked.

I had both books with me, so first I gave him his book back, which he put back and I showed him ten pictures, a few of him and Daniel and several of his friends, jumping up or sitting concentrated in their game.

‘They are beautiful, you make their eyes come out so great,’ he said, flipping through them.

He halted at my last picture, it was one of him and myself, staring each other deep in the eyes. I had drawn a halo and gentle white wings on his back and horns and a tail on myself. In the picture I was keeping him prisoner with my tail and embracing him tightly.

‘This is the best, can I have it?’ he asked.

‘Sure..’ I whispered.

He gently tore out the picture and placed it on his nightstand. We were seated on his bed, but it was a little early for me to go to sleep, he turned on his laptop and jumped out of the room for a moment, quickly he came back with a movie and put it in his laptop. I crawled against him, resting my head on his broad chest, enjoying his touch.

‘I really love you Chris,’ I whispered.

‘I love you too Muffin,’ he answered and played the romantic movie.

Please let me know what you think! :D
