Shawn pulled up to Adelaide Street, where Delilah was balled up on her couch in room 34 in front of him. He had her favorite flowers in his right hand, his left in his pocket to try to stop it from shaking.

Shaking from the freezing cold, and the nerves that were slowly swallowing him. He brushed off the snow that has built on his head, and felt his almost numb nose, slowly gain its color again as he entered the building.

No security.

Here he was about to meet the girl whose brutal honesty and beautiful soul had stolen his heart fully.

And she didn't even have damn security cameras in the building.

His phone had died, so he didn't even get to check to see if she was home, or alive at this point.

After going to floor three Shawn stood in front of the musty black door.

It was now or never, so he knocked once, then twice. After a minute from no answer he knocked again.

"No ones home leave a message!" He heard a faint voice from inside yell

Shawn chuckled to himself, before remembering that Delilah had told him that she had a key taped to the top of the doorframe, because being the forgetful human she was, Delilah always forgot her keys.

He reached up, grabbed the small silver key with his right hand, the flowers shaking in his left.

He inserted the key, hearing a small click he slowly opened the door. Shawn walked in, not trying to be quiet, he saw in front of him the back of a huge white couch and a small hand sticking up, pointing to something to the right.

Her apartment was small, but didn't look as small as it felt. When he walked in, on his left was a small hallway that led to three rooms, and on his right was a kitchen that had a miniature island in the middle with two chairs.

"If you wanna rob me don't even try we have nothing unless you want food cause the kitchens over there, don't bother me" he heard Delilah's monotone, yet sweet voice call from behind the couch. A Christmas movie playing on the TV in front of her.

This time Shawn couldn't help keep his laughter in and let out a loud chuckle, "you know Del it worries me that you would let random people walk in and eat your food just like that I'm worried honestly"

Hearing his familiar voice, Delilah's heart jumped, and with that so did her body. She stood up, wrapping the blanket she had around her she stared at the figure in front of her.

Shawn saw Delilah's entire face light up and, he felt his feet slowly walking towards her, and she ran straight into his arms.

She wrapped the blanket about the two, Shawn's flowers falling out of his hand as he grabbed the girl and held her tight against his chest.

Delilah felt her skin tingle, and the butterflies in her chest explode as he held her. Her head fit perfectly between his neck and shoulder as she wrapped her arms around his body.

"You smell like muffins" Delilah mumbled, feeling Shawn laugh as she closed her eyes.

"Well you smell like...a Delilah"

Delilah pulled away from Shawn only slightly, so she could just look at him. "What the hell does a Delilah smell like and how do you know? Are you cheating on me Shawn" Delilah joked

"Sorry I forgot to tell you Del, I met this girl Delilah she lives in New York and she kinda stole my heart" Shawn grinned, as he felt his cheeks turn pink as Delilah smiled up at him her brown eyes staring into his own. A large smile graced her face as she pair her head back on his chest, scared of letting go.

She was so beautiful, even without makeup and her incredibly messy hair. She didn't even try but she still looked so gorgeous it killed him.

It was in that moment when Delilah became the only person in the world to Shawn.

And Delilah's dream of meeting her Prince Charming finally came true.
