I'm nothing, I've always been nothing. I can't do anything special or recognizable, and I have nothing besides anything I can get away with hiding. I have no family, I have no friends, I'm government property because my parents were fucking assholes...
"Dad!" I pulled the phone away from my ear when Avi yelled.
"Hello to you too, what's up bubz?" I asked while I walked around the venue before soundcheck. This was the first tour without Avi and I missed her a lot.
"I'm gonna be on The Late Late Show with James Corden!" She squealed. I had caught her up past her bedtime watching the show in the living room a couple of times. She was obsessed with the show and the carpool karaoke he did.
"That's amazing bubz, how's it gonna work?" I asked.
"We're all gonna go the day before the show and chill in an airbnb, go to the show I'll do my interview and my musical performance with Shawn, then hang out around LA before going back home, also wanted to tell you something else" she said and paused before I started getting a FaceTime call from her. I answered and I smiled when I saw her beautiful smile.
"What's this other news?" I asked.
"Happy birthday dad, I love you so much" I smiled at her. She really was amazing.
"Thanks bubz, I wish you were here" she pouted and nodded.
"I wish I was too, but I'm so busy here working since the company launched. You'll never guess who I'm styling first" she said.
"Who?" I asked while Vic and Jaime came into the green room.
"My first client is Demi Lovato! We're gonna have a dinner meeting tomorrow with her team" I smiled at her while I could see she was beaming.
"Hey bubz, we miss you" Vic said.
"Love you bubz!" Jaime said.
"You're talking to my niece without me present?" Matt gasped.
"Ooh, put uncle Matt on the phone" I handed him my phone and he smiled. "Guess what happened the other day?"
"You and Shawn decided to get an apartment together?" He asked.
"No, we babysat Aaliyah since his parents wanted a night to themselves and she called me her big sister" he chuckled.
"That's adorable, I have to go bubz but I'll talk soon okay? Take care of my wife" he said.
"She can take care of herself, and okay" she said making us all smile. "Hey pops, I'm gonna go and edit a video, have a good show tonight"
"Thanks bubz, I love you" I said.
"I love you too" she smiled and we both hung up. "Hey Matt-"
"I know what you're thinking and we have that day free. I'll arrange it" I smiled and he left to do his manager stuff.

Avi's POV
I kept bouncing in my seat while I got my hair and makeup done. My hair was kept in a braid that wrapped into a bun. My makeup was mostly in a pink neutral tone, but my lips were covered in Rose Matter by Jeffree Star Cosmetics. I had on my mother's ring, the watch abuela gave me, and a ring Alysha had gotten me for Christmas. I had my glasses on and my gold tunnels in too.
