Worldwide

"I'll be thinking about you worldwide..."

The next few days were pretty boring- sing, rehearse, play a concert. We only had about 2 shows, and a week left of the tour.

I was walking in the hotel lobby, looking at the brochures and seeing what there was to do, when I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket. I checked it, and it was a text from Zach.

Zach: Where are you?

Me: Hotel lobby, why?

Zach: You busy?

Me: No...

Zach: Come to room 5018. See you soon

What was that about? I shrugged it off and headed up to the fifth floor. I found the room Zach told me to come to and knocked twice. The door swung open and I saw Zach.

"Hey," he said. "This is just an emergency meeting that we forgot to inform you of..."

"Oh, how nice," I said, irritated. How did they forget to tell me? Idiots. I walked in and took a seat next to Colton. John was there; he was standing next to a man I didn't recognize.

"Katie, this is Ryan. He's the head of Restless Road's record label."

"Nice to meet you," I said.

"Anyway," Ryan started. "We have some news. We've been talking to some of your fans and there is a demand for more shows. And we're going to give it to them."

"Wait, you mean..." Andrew trailed off.

"Yep, the tour isn't over! The main tour is going to end in a week, like normal. Then, you'll have a month off. Some time to relax, learn some new songs for the tour, work on new music," John said.

"But then, you're touring worldwide!"

"Worldwide?!" I said. "You mean, we're going to other countries?!"

"Yep!" Ryan said. "It's going to be fantastic!" I stared at them both in disbelief. Worldwide tour? No way.

John and Ryan stayed a while longer, and then it was just me and the boys. I decided to head back to my room so I could go tell my friends and family the good news.

As soon as I sat down, however, I heard a knock at the door. I opened it and found Zach. He just stood there smiling.

"What?" I asked.

"I think this calls for a celebration," he said.

"What do you mean...?"

"I mean... let's go out. Right now. On a date."

"Right now?!" I asked.

"Yeah, come on, let's go!" he said, taking my hand and dragging me out the door. I giggled as we ran down the stairs together. We sprinted out the front doors and ran out to his car, breathless.

"Where are we going?" I called.

"I have no idea," he said, getting in and starting the car. "I guess we'll end up where we end up."

I grinned. This was going to be a fun night.

I'm sorry it's so short, but I'm running out of inspiration! I have really bad writer's block, but I'll try to get another chapter up this weekend. Love you all.
