Chapter ∞ Twenty Three ∞

I love the feeling of being free, but in reality, who doesn't? It's the felling were you feel like you have accomplished everything in your life that you could possibly dream of. It's the feeling that a weight has been lifted off you chest, and nothing else matters than what is going on right now.

That's how I felt right now. I was standing, in wolf form, looking out at a waterfall. The water was breathtaking. The light blue water reflected all colors of the rainbow. A light red and orange showing as it feel down to earth.

I was standing at the edge looking out, I had let the time slip away as I stood, staring. Are you ready to shift back? I turned my head and saw Jason sitting a few steps behind me.

I mean, sure. Do you want me to do it now though? I don't have clothes here. I thought to him as I turned back to face he water.

I just talked with Vee, she's bringing some. You can shift then jump in the water, I won't look. He said. Thank goodness. I mean, I know we're mates and everything, but I wasn't ready to take it that far.

Okay. Turn around now. I turned my head to make sure he was facing the opposite direction as me. Once he had, I walked up to the edge of the water. I pictured in my head, me, walking down a beach smiling and laughing as I ran into the water.

I don't know how, but it just works. The whole 'think and do' method of being a werewolf. This time wasn't as bad as the first. I could feel my bones were getting use to this.

Once I had surfaced from the water, I was in my human form. I had never realized how much I loved my hands. With paws, you couldn't do anything. I turned around in the water, even though it was neck high, I covered my chest before turning and looking at Jason.

He was still in his Wolf form, facing the trees. "You can come in now," oh gosh. Why did I talk? Did I temporarily forget that I was naked? His wolf turned around and walked up to the edge of the water, where I had been standing a few moments ago. He tilted his head as if asking if I was sure. I nodded.

He leaped in, similar to what I had done. When he surfaced he shook his, now wet, hair out. He turned to look at me, his eyes traveling down from my face to my neck. I tightened my arms that were wrapped around my body, the only thing between the water and my body.

"You invited me in, don't be afraid to let me see you now," Jason said with a smirk on his face as he swam closer to me. Once he was in front of me he just looked into my eyes, his searching mine for answers to silent questions.

Now, I had realized how close we were to each other. The proximity was excruciating. I tried to keep my eyes glued to his face, now that I also realized he was naked too.

"Please," he said a hint of despair in his voice. I looked into his eyes and saw an emotion I wasn't familiar with. Love. Not lust, but love. Jason loves me. I don't think anyone other than my mom and dad has loved me before.

I loosed my arms from around my body and brought my hands to the sides of my thighs. I looked into his eyes as I did, his eyes starting to roam down my body. I could feel his eyes as they traveled to my bare chest, it was a very uncomfortable situation.

As he looked down I did the same for him, and what I saw made my eyes huge. I've never seen one before, but his was so... huge. I looked aback at his chest, his six pack making me drool.

"Your beautiful," Jason said returning his eyes to mine. He stepped closer and grabbed my hand under the water. "I know that everything new to you, so right now I just want to be with you. Not making love yet, but just being near you."

I think I nodded, I'm not sure. But, I know somewhere in between Jason talking to me, I realized something. That I love him. That I have never truly lived anyone as much as I love him right now. The feeling scares me so much it's unfathomable. I just don't know how I'm going to say goodbye in 5 more months.
