Chapter ∞ Nine ∞

"Okay, first question. Did you know about werewolves prior to you meeting Jason and Vee?" I was currently sitting in the chair next to the lie detector, which Charles was monitoring. I had a white cuff around my wrist and something that wrapped around my thumb.

"No," I said looking at Charles as he watched the paper that was being feed out of the machine.

"Do you plan to tell anyone about us?" Jason said asking this time. He took a step closer to the machine, awaiting the results of the lie detector. 

"No, why don't you guys trust me." I asked this time.

"It's kind of hard when your in our position," Jason shot back with dark narrowed eyes. What is he talking about? What position? Didn't they kidnap me? Shouldn't I be the one not trusting them? 

I remember that in the car that one time Jason thought I was sleeping and had said something about not wanting to have a repeat something and that I could be a member of some organization. 

"Does this have to do with me being a member of some type of anti- werewolf organization?" I snapped. I was mad. They took Me and then didn't trust ME. I should be the one not thrusting them. "I'm not part of anything, I'm just a normal girl."

"How do you know about PAW's?" Vee said stepping up to where Charles was. Behind her I could see Jason's face turning a dark red and could tell that he was clenching his knuckles hard at his sides until they were white.

"I don't. I just heard you and Jason talking about it. I had no idea it was called PAW's or whatever." I said looking at Vee who had turned her attention to Jason. I was scared now, Jason looked as if he was on the verge of murder. The murder of me!

"She's telling the truth," Charles said looking down at the paper that was currently being feed out of the machine.

"I don't care, she can't just bring that up." Jason said walking closer to me. He took my arm and yanked me out of the chair, causing the wrist cuff and thumb piece to be discarded in the floor.

"Where are you taking me?" I whispered as I was dragged to the elevator at the end of the hall.

"You are still my servant, and you need to be reminded how dangerous I actually am," Jason muttered just so I could hear it. He pulled me through the lobby and shoved me into the passenger side of the car. After he slammed on the gas we began driving at a speed that I doubt any car actually showed. We zoomed past a bridge and continued on a double lane road. In a few minutes Jason had taken a small dirt road that lead us to the beginning of a forest with trees the size that looked like they were touching the clouds. If I wasn't scared for my life I would have acknowledged the beauty of them.

"Stay in the car until I come and get you," Jason said as he slammed the door shut. I watched as he walked about fifteen feet away from the car, his back still turned to me. He lifted his shirt off and dropped it into a pile by his feet. Soon after his shoes were added to the pile. His back had strong muscles pulling at each side and disappearing into his waist line of his sweat pants. His hair was ruffled and I could tell that his breathing had execrated from just a few moments ago in the car.

He suddenly bent backwards and I could see bones moving as he sifted into his true form, his wolf form. The wolf in front of me had dark brown hair, that reminded me of chocolate. On his head, the hair tips were a golden honey color, that mixed with the brown hair perfectly. I grabbed the door handle as I debated if I should get out of the car or not. I slowly pushed the door opened but the moment I did, Jason's head whipped in my direction. His eyes shone like a blue sky, but were soon clouded with black waves. Just as I thought that he was coming towards me, he ran quickly in the opposite direction.
