The two men sat at the booth, silently eating their crepes.

"You wanna talk?" Kyle asked him hinting towards the subject. But dan shook his head, swallowing his bite.

"Not really."

There was an awkward silence between the two. Neither knew what to say.

"It's just that I wanna get away from it. I don't wanna keep getting weighed down by something that isn't really a big deal." Dan explained, looking down to his empty plate.

"I feel you." Kyle smiled, cutting a piece of his crepe and putting it into Dan's plate. He didn't know why but when that tiny act of kindness made him blush like crazy, his heart happy.

"Tell me about yourself." Dan grinned, watching Kyle take a sip of his juice.

"Well I don't really know." Kyle stuttered at a loss of words.

After a few minutes they were at it, talking like they had known each other for years. There were no awkward pauses or awkward silence between them. Just hearty laughs, mouths open wide, crazy smiles to both of them.

---

The two went back to Kyle's and continued their conversations.

In the short time dan had learned that Kyle had been traveling since he was a baby. His father had been serving in the army, which meant that he had lived in places like Japan and Argentina. Kyle had told him his love of moving. That most kids his age would have  despised the constant leaving. But he had always seen it as a new adventure. A new opportunity.

"How did you do that?" He asked Kyle, mesmerized.

"You never tell them you're leaving. It hurts too  much for the both of you. One day you're watching movies at their house in Australia and the next day you're living in Japan."

Dan couldn't understand. How could you do that?

But then he understood. In a fucked up way he understood where Kyle was coming from. In way he could almost relate perfectly, despite the fact that he had only ever moved a few times.

---

It was now nearly midnight and the two were absentmindedly watching reruns of jersey shore, commenting on Jwow and Dan's favorite Pauly D.

"We should do this." Kyle laughed, finishing his beer can.

"London shore." Dan screamed practically knocking himself off the sofa. He then pulled out his phone and began recording.

"This is Kwow and I'm Pauly D coming at you live from Kwow's apartment." He then flipped the camera and began zooming in in Kyle.

"Look at that ass. Mmhmmm good stuff. He won't admit it though, but Kwow got that cake." He laughed zooming in on Kyle's ass until Kyle snatched the phone from him.

He then began to zoom in on Dan, watching as he blushed like a mad man.

"Here we see a wild bastard in his natural habitat. Pauly D is his name, but don't let your women get too close or he'll steal em right up."

"I fucking hate you." Dan yelled and grabbed the phone away from Kyle.

"This it for episode one of London shore. Make sure to catch us next week for more." He grinned zooming in on Kyle before stopping the recording.

"Can I show you something?" Dan asked him, feeling energy race through his veins despite the time.

"Sure."

Not five minutes later the two were riding in Dan's car. He was speeding down the highway, almost going one hundred.

"Stick your head out." Dan said as he rolled down all the windows and the sunroof.

"No! I'll fall out." Kyle shouted back over the wind.

"You'll be fine, I've done it a thousand times!" Dan grinned.

And so Kyle loosened his seatbelt and stuck his upper body out the window, feeling the world pass him by.

"Ohmygod!" He shouted feeling as he struggled to keep his eyes open.

He then climbed back into the car and turned up the radio. Kyle then climbed back out but his time he climbed through the moon roof.

He felt a feeling of euphoria flow through his body as he threw his hands up to the sky. Dan couldn't help but grin as he watched Kyle throw his head in laughter, waist up out of the car.

After a few more minutes he climbed back into the car, a smile that couldn't be wiped off occupying his face.

"I fucking love you!"
