Chapter 35

June's POV

I was in my room for a whole day. The gang has been trying to get me out since the night I came in my room from Dally yelling at me. I have been thinking lately. I have also been drawing and singing more to. But I have been really thinking. About the deal I made with the Socs, my future, becoming a soldier, ideas for songs, how to deal with the gang, and my education. I mean that's a lot. But I don't know if the Socs are really coming after Johnny. I think that they are trying to get us to do anything and everything to protect him and not so much the others and then get the person they want who is the person we would least expect. But I don't know. I'm stressed and I could be full of shit. Oh my gosh! I forgot the deal! I have to leave and see if the Socs need anything before they hurt anyone! They are literally gonna kill me! I quickly put on my blue skinny jeans, my white shirt, my leather jacket, and my black converse. I over heard the conversation last night about not letting us leave without someone or let people know where your going. Neither if those ideas will work so there's one option left. The window. I jumped out and went through the front gate not realizing the obvious. "June?!" Ponyboy yelled and I turned around and saw Pony, Dally, Two-Bit, and Johnny in the porch smoking. I turned around and un latched the gate but was to slow because Pony tackled me to the ground. "Ponyboy, get off of me!" I yelled and was fighting against him but Dally came and grabbed my wrists and put them behind my back and guided me inside. "This little shit was trying to escape!" Dally shouted and Two-Bit was laughing. Dally sat me on the couch and I tried to get up but then he pushed Ponyboy on me and Johnny went on top of him. "Where were ya going June?" Candy asked and I didn't answer because I moved my head to where I was close to Pony's arm and bit it. He jumped in the air yelling in pain and when he did, he launched Johnny and Darry caught him. I made a break for it but Candy stopped me but I could handle her. Just as I was about to make a move, Two-Bit came and threw me over his shoulder. He threw me on the couch then Soda sat on me and then Steve sat on him with Dally holding my head back so I don't bit anyone. I tried to throw my arms everywhere to hit anyone but then Soda grabbed both of them then stuck them under his ass but still held onto them. "June, this is ridiculous! What is happening??!"
Darry asked setting Johnny down. "I say we duct tape her and Tanner together!" Dally said and that made Steve and Two-Bit burst out laughing. "We are not going to duct tape anyone! But June, this is going to far, don't ya think? I want you to be safe like the rest of the gang. But apparently they aren't safe because people are after them. I don't know what to do anymore! I just-" Beth said but stopped because she was on the verge of tears. She ran to Darry's room and shut the door. Darry glared at me and went after her. It was quiet so we could hear what they're talking about. "Beth, she'll come around. Ok? We're all gonna be fine. Baby, I love you a lot and I hate to see you cry." Darry comforted but we could still hear Beth crying. Dally gave that look that says ' C'mon kid, just tell us. Please.' I was about to say something when Candy covered my mouth and said "Don't say anything that you'll regret." I just looked at her. "I-I just don't know what to do anymore Darry. I want to help her but she won't let me in. She won't let any of us in! I love her like my own kid, same with the rest of the gang. We're supposed to help them but we can't help them if they won't let us. She needs us but she won't let us help her. I don't understand!" Beth said and I feel bad. I finally got my hands out from under Soda and pushed them off of me and then I shoved both Candy and Dally's hand off of me. I got up and tan out the door shutting it causing the gang to run into it. They cussed and I laughed. I ran to the Soc territory and walked into a store. I got dirty looks but soon enough there was a tap on my shoulder and there was Bob and Cherry. Great. "We've been looking all over for you! You're gonna pay for making us look for you." Bob said and Cherry smirked. "What do you want?" I asked as Cherry grabbed my face and said "Well, Bob wants to get with your sister Candy and I want Sodapop. So go get them and bring them to us or we will personally go get them." I looked at her and yanked my face out of her grip which caused her claws to scratch my face. "I said I will do anything you say or want me to do. Then you said that if I do then you will leave my family alone. I'm not getting my family involved in this! End of story! Do want you want to ME! Not them!" I said and Cherry glared at me but said "Fine. If you say so." Then she grabbed me by my hair and dragged me out of the store and into their car. They drove to their house and no one was home. They dragged me inside and threw me on the couch and Bob jumped on me and started kissing me while Cherry was recording this on her camera. "Don't fight baby. It will only make it worse." Bob whispered and then I did the exact opposite of what he told me. I fought with all of my might. He started kissing me on the lips and then down my neck. Oh my gosh. He's gonna rape me. I should have told the gang what was happening then I wouldn't be here.

Braeden's POV

It's been a couple of hours since June has left and the gang is freaking out. There was a knock on the door and Candy opened it. "What the hell are you doing here, Cherry?" She yelled and the gang immediately turned their attention to them and Cherry smirked. "Here. I think you need to watch this." She handed Candy a tape and then left. Candy shut the door and went to the TV and put in the tape. It was in a Socs house and all of a sudden we saw June get pushed on the couch. Bob jumped on her and started kissing her. He was holding her down and saying something in her ear. This lasted about twenty minutes and then Bob got off of June and stood in front of the camera while Cherry was messing with June. "Listen Greasers. We could do so much more but I'm not planning a raping a thirteen year old girl. But that doesn't mean I won't do it to the other girls in June's gang. By the way, we're nit the ones that are after June or whatever. Yeah, word spreads fast. But I hope you guys loved this video because it was fun." Bob said and then the TV went black. We heard a knock on the door and I opened it and found June on the porch unconscious. I rushed out and the gang was right behind me. Darry and Beth decided to take her to the hospital. They took her in and hasn't came back yet. I wonder who is really behind all of this if it isn't the Socs. Who's after Johnny?
