Dallas's POV

It's now been three days since Braeden has left and I don't know where he is. I'll be honest, I miss him. He's my little brother after all, but I hope he is ok. I hope that he's ok. I'm currently at Buck's recovering from last night's hangover. But to top all of my problems, something happened last night. Something very terrible. I don't think the person I did it to will forgive me and I think I ruined our friendship. I wish I was a better person. I have a cold heart and it can't be fixed. It's too dark for anyone to even come near it. I even hurt the people who try to help me without trying. But let me tell you something, you only live once. Make it count. Make your life worth living. Be nice to people because they could be going through something and just you being nice to them could make their day. Don't hold grudges or say your life sucks because life is too short for that.  Don't do something now that you'll regret later.

Soda's POV

I could already tell that today is going be a long day and I just got here five minutes ago. Steve wasn't feeling  good so he's at my house and Evie is watching after him. The boss said that he got someone to help me today and I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. If it's a girl who finds me attractive then it's going to be an even longer day and if it's guy that doesn't know what he's doing then I might as well just let him burn down the whole place. Alright, I'll admit that I'm being rude and I'm sorry about that. The bell to the door went off interrupting my thoughts. A guy my age walked in and he was wearing worn out converse, blue jeans, and he was only wearing a leather jacket. "Hey kid, where's your boss?" He asked and then it it me. He was the guy boss hired to help out. Great. Just great. "He's in the back. I'll go get him." I said and I started to walk back but I felt a hand on my shoulder and it pulled me back. He turned me around and he was an inch away from my face. "No need. I'll go." He said and his breath reeked. He winked at me and then went back to find boss. I watched as he walked in the back an he closed the door to boss's office. I started working and I wasn't paying attention to the time to realize the the rush hour was going to start in less then five minutes and that one guy was still in talking to boss. I wonder what they are talking about. He had been in there for awhile now. Then I saw something move out of the corner of my eye and I looked out the window and saw a crowd of girls running towards the DX. This is going to be something else. The girls rushed in and they all started talking to me at once. They were yelling and holding onto me and some were even hitting each other. I tried to pry the girls off of me but once I got one girl off another one would grab me. All of a sudden we hear a loud bang and everyone goes quiet. The boss's door opens and the guy that cane in earlier came out with a gun in his hand and all of the girls screamed. He pointed the gun to me and said "Open the cash register kid." I did as I was told and he threw a bag at me and said to put all of the money inside. I did and gave it to him and then he walked to the front door and before he left he turned around and said "Sorry." Then he shot me. The girls screamed as he ran out. Te girls cane to me as I was on the ground bleeding to death. I saw one girl on the phone which I'm assuming she is calling for an ambulance. I looked to my left to the boss's office and I saw him laying in a puddle of blood and by the looks of it, he was gone. I started to fade in and out of consciousness as I felt something being pressed against my wound. Finally I gave up and followed the light.
