Hey everybody!
I know it's been a while. The follower count has jumped tremendously since I last posted here and that's wild to me, but also really exciting and humbling.
I'm asking for your help over the next couple of days. As I wrote here, during the process of this self-care poster project I applied to and was accepted into graduate school for Counseling with a focus on Clinical Mental Health.
My first big research paper is on minority suicide prevention. I want to answer this question: "Why do ethnic minorities decide or choose to keep living despite suicidal thoughts?"
I'm looking for a few people who...
~ Self-identify as an ethnic minority or as biracial/multiracial
~ Have either attempted suicide or seriously considered suicide in the past
~ Preferably live in the United States
18 or older
~ Willing to share their lived experience
I have a short list of questions about suicide, which I know is a subject some people are not comfortable talking about. The paper is strictly academic (aka - for a grade lol) and won't be published anywhere and all participants will remain anonymous.
Part of the assignment requirements were to write about an under-served population, hence the focus on minorities.
If you want to help, a reblog would be great. If you would like to participate, you can reply here, send a message or send fanmail. If you're not interested, feel free to keep on scrolling. No worries <3
Thanks for reading!
