Don't Be So Hard On Yourself

We all make many mistakes and we all have our many regrets and failed attempts. But we should let anything in our past define who we are or even destroy ourselves.

You wanna be so perfect as your parents, friends, co-workers, managers, bosses and everyone else you have on your list want from you. But as much we wanna please them enough to gain their acceptance of the person they basically formed us to become, we gotta stay true to the person we are on the inside no matter what you may be thinking right now.

If you went through all that training to become a doctor you came up with a plan. You did my operation, you did it just right, just perfect. You made me so I could walk again, but I didn't. Why do you feel helpless? Like nothing matters. No matter how much you care, how hard you try, how badly you want something, you'll never have it. Because everything is totally out of your control. Feel that?

Quoted by a patient of episode 13, season 9 of Grey's Anatomy!

Another patient is a Jehovah's Witness believer and him and his family are believers too in which believe in the gift of life from God or something like that. And that they refuse any kind of blood from a hospital even though there's no real logic reason to refuse to blood to save their son. Prayer may be powerful being one thing but blood together with that does magical things when done right.

In order for magic to happen like I explained, anyone whether they're like the patient explained, and they want that someone to live, they gotta accept the blood that's more than completely safe! Why have any real reason like the patient's belief kill someone when what will save them is what they keep refusing.

You want someone to live a normal and healthy life, you let the doctors give that someone blood to save their life and many others too!
