Ginny and Hermione always knew that Scorpius would end up with Rose.

They could see the adoring looks he gave her, and Hermione and Ginny argued about their kids. Imagine if some people walked in on them...

If Albus and James walked in...

They were casually strolling down the hall, talking, when they heard the rustling of paper in their parents bedroom. They knew it wasn't wise after the...incident when Albus was 3, and they were hesitant to open said door. But they did, silently. And under the invisibility cloak.

Hermione and their Mum were discussing a paper, a drawing of a teenager with red hair and pale skin, grey eyes, and nice cheekbones. He was wearing a black hoodie and on the back it said '7' and then 'Malfoy' written underneath.

What was this foolery? What was their mum doing with a picture of a Malfoy, red haired teenage boy?

The only explanation James could think of was that this was Scorpius, becoming a Weasley. Dying his hair red. But that was not really what would happen...Scorpius was relatively sensible.

Albus, however, made a connection. He thought of the Weasley's red hair, and Scorpius' face, and he decided that this was the son of Scorpius Malfoy and a Weasley with red hair.

"How odd." They both commented when they had left.

James forgot the incident, but it lived on in Albus' memory forever, even after Rose's and Scorpius' marriage, and when their son and daughter was born.

If Ron walked in...

Ron walked away from the living room, shaking his head. Harry was being absurd.

He chuckled, and eavesdropped on his wife and sister.

"I'm telling you, their son would have red hair!" Ginny argued.

"Yes, yes, but Red hair with grey eyes? Are you sure?" Hermione disagreed.

"Definitely. I think it would be perfect. The spirit of a Weasley but the complexity of a Malfoy."

"I think we can hold off on that for a moment though, why are we even talking about their kids? Rose still dislikes Malfoy...but it's only a matter of time!"

Ron was flabbergasted. Daughter. Rose. Marry. Have. Kids. With. Malfoy. Scorpius. Draco's. Son. Scorpius. Rose. Malfoy. Son. Daughter. Grandchildren. Grandchildren.

He passed out.

If Rose walked in on them:

She was only strolling, looking for Ginny and Hermione to find a good hex for the boys.

She slipped the invisibility cloak on because it gave her a moment to herself. To think.

Rose liked Scorpius. As a friend. But not more. And he felt the same. Yes. So why did she feel like she was lying to herself?

"Ooooh! What about blond wavy hair for a girl and with green eyes!"

"Yes! That would be amazing. Bet you Scorpius would love that!"

"Yes. Rose would love her more though. Because she will favour his hair over anything else! And Scorp would love the son because he has the hair he loves the most."

What?! They were taking about the daughter and son of her and and and Malfoy! What?!

"Mother! What are you taking about?"

Papers flew everywhere, as Hermione Weasley tried to prevent Rose from seeing what they had been drawing. Rose caught glimpses of red haired boys and blonde girls.

"Hi, Rose!" Hermione's voice got very high pitched

"Wotcha doing?" Rose asked nonchalantly.

"Oh,nothing."

"Just...um...discussing clothes for boys and girls." Ginny said.

"Yes, yes."

"Yeah right. Mum, Aunt Ginny, why do you think Malfoy and I will have kids?!" Rose asked incredulous.

"Young lady, you do not eavesdrop. That's rude. Very very rude." Hermione said sternly.

"Should we obliviate her?" Ginny asked.

"Hmmmm....no. She needs to know....well, not really." Hermione said.

Rose strode out of there before they could indeed obliviate her.

Finally, If Scorpius saw them:

Scorpius Malfoy was going to knock on Ginny's bedroom when he heard his name being mentioned. Curious, he listened in, blushing as he knew it was wrong.

"What could be his name?"

"I don't know, what goes with Malfoy. It can't be another Draco- that would be a nightmare. Rose would have to like it...." Ginny said.

They were taking about a Malfoy, but whom. Why would it be after his father? Why would Rose have to like it?

Unless...

All his fantasies came back to him, Rose being his girlfriend, kissing Rose, proposing to Rose, marrying Rose, having beautiful kids with Rose.

Surely there was no way...

"He would have Rose's red hair and his grey eyes."

Scorpius smiled. A son. With her fiery hair, and his grey eyes.

"And a daughter. Don't forget the daughter. Blonde hair and green eyes."

She already sounded stunning, even though it was just an imagination.

When they had gone, and left the drawings - Scorpius was delighted to know they had drawings - in a neat pile, Scorpius stole one that contained both daughter and son, and it was one of his most prized possessions.

Whilst Ginny and Hermione were at dinner one day, the latter chuckled loudly.

"Wouldn't it be funny if people walked in on us - 'sides Rose, that is-. Can you imagine Ron's face when he found out? Albus, James? Merlin, imagine Scorpius."

"I wonder...oh, and Hermione. Did you take a sheet? There is one missing."

"Really? I didn't take it."

Both looked at each other, eyes wide.
