Maya was Oliver Wood's daughter. She was of course an excellent Quidditch player and late grew up to become the captain of Puddlemere United, which of course made her dad extremely proud.
Maya wasn't a Gryffindor, she was a Hufflepuff, but her dad didn't kill her, he praised her. Her mother had been in Hufflepuff, and he was proud, although he would have loved it if she was in Gryffindor. Maya helped the Hufflepuff team a lot so they beat Ravenclaw and Slytherin, and sometimes Gryffindor. Maya was friends with Ellen Dursley and Callie Rosen
