Lily was quite crazy about animals too and when she announced that she wanted to make a potion to cure werewolf bites, Harry assisted her, as did Hermione. They succeeded it when she was older, and when it was called 'The Lupin Potion', Remus cried. Many were saved by this potion and Lily wasn't looked down upon as the shadow of the family, the youngest. To some, she was the favourite, because the potion she had made had saved their lives.
