The kids created a secret language which they used. When Scorp met Rose and Albus, they secretly talked for the first year in this language and Scorp became very confused. Over the years, he became sad that he was left out and eventually Rose taught it to him. This was the same with Alice and some other close friends of the Weasley/Potter kids.
