Holidays - What happened?

The Holidays of Albus's second year were indeed great. Not only did he have Scorp there, but he also had Alice - a girl he was beginning to grow great affection for. Neville, who taught herbology, saw this and his eyes darkened every time he saw Albus. Which was a shame, because Al was particularly good at Herbology. Scorp was better, but not like Alice. Some might say it was favouritism, but it really wasn't . Neville swore that he wouldn't make the others feel less loved, but he couldn't do much about the prodigy student that was his daughter. If Alice was the only one who had her hand up, then he could pick her, because he had to.

Anyway. The 3rd week of the holidays - at The Burrow - was eventful.

First, they had the evening dinner. This consisted of a humongous barbecue, with Molly Weasley I, running round like crazy.

Most of the adults got tipsy. Ron was the funniest. He trailed after Hermione, who had refrained from drinking from the fear that she might get sacked, and started confessing his love to her.

"I love you, 'Mione. I do! I do!" He slurred.

"Yes, Ron. Go to sleep."

"I love you. Love you. Love you." He eventually did go to sleep, and Hermione figured that the giant hangover he had in the morning was almost enough.

Then, the next day, the cousins and friends played truth or dare. Albus had had to kiss Alice. He wasn't complaining. It had been Lily who gave the dare.

After that, they well...you get the point.

For the last week of the holidays, Al, James, Lily and Scorpius, went back to the Potter home.

It was here that Lily developed a fascination for Scorpius, although she knew he liked Rose. She persisted this fascination for Albus' 3rd Year, but she knew it was time she should let it go. He was obsessed with her cousin Rose, and that was okay. She liked it.

After the week had gone by, they had to return to school, but they weren't that sad. School was great, and life was great.
