Chapter 9: Team Rocket Enters!

Lt. Surge's P.O.V

"Boss we found 'em!" I whispered into the walkie as I saw them passed by, my Raichu jumped out in front of them and instantly the mew went into the girl's backpack. For sure we got them until that Girl's Charizard came out and that guy-wait! That's the former champ! Shoot! It was his Umbreon that came out! Raichu used Thunderbolt but that good for nothing Mew put a psychic barrier up! That Umbreon and Charizard used dark pulse and flamethrower hurting my Raichu! Then they ran for it, those good for nothing brats! "Boss, they got away, they are way stronger then we thought, I'm still following them tho" No response from the other side, Giovanni must be furious!

Your P.O.V

"What was that? Who was that guy?" I looked back to see us being chased and I saw the R logo, my eyes widened in fear and I kept running with green "Y/N keep running!" "Or we could get on Charizard!" Umbreon returned into his pokeball and I hopped on Charizard, Green sitting behind me. Charizard soon ascended and we lost track of him. "Thanks Shrimp, that was a good idea back there" I was lost in my thoughts, team rocket? Again? I didn't ever want to see them again, especially after what they had done, Mew came out of my bag holding a messily written note, it most probably used its psychic powers to control a pen and write out words. I could only make out half of it and it said:
Y/N! Green! Help! Bad guys are trying to take me away and use me for experiments! I need your help! I-
And I couldn't read anymore then Green hit me in the back of the head snapping me out of my thoughts. "Yo, shrimp, you alright? You're shaking"
I looked at him, unknowing that I was crying till I felt a tear hit my hand, Mew looked worried and Charizard knew the only reason why. He was the only one out of my Pokémon I told, the reason why I lived with my grandparents. I needed to tell them "It's my past, that guy who was chasing us...I saw the team rocket logo" Green looked worried and Charizard landed by Lake Rage. I hopped off Charizard and so did Green, I did something I thought I never would do, ever. I just cried into Green's chest. He look surprised and confused. The rest of our Pokémon came out to see what was going on. "H-help M-mew, team rocket..." that was all I was able to say in between sobs.
~Flashback~
"Mommy? Where's daddy?" My mom had taken me to her and dad's bedroom. I was still really small at the time so I didn't know what was going on. "Well honey, Daddy is fighting a war outside" What I didn't know at that time was that my dad quit team rocket when he was one of the elite because he got married to my mother. Giovanni became mad, really mad and finally tracked down our family. Our house was surrounded by grunts and Giovanni himself was fighting my father for his life, my mother made me hide under the bed and keep quiet no matter what, she gave me her necklace that was the most precious thing she had, it was a silver heat locket with a picture of the three of us inside. I heard glass break, something like a explosion, and a thud. I saw my mothers hand and it took all my energy to keep me from crying, the grunts couldn't get to me because I was hidden well under the bed. Once the grunts all left, I saw my dad on the floor outside. Two days later my grandparents brought my parents Pokémon, me, and all my belongings to Pallet and that's where I grew up with my grandparents all these years.
~End of flashback~
Mew had read my mind, I could tell because it started crying. I bet it told all the other Pokémon as well because I heard more sobs. My crying had slowed down, and I looked up at Green, who was still in shock. I got off him and he looked confused. "Sorry about that *Sniffles* I just-" He rolled his eyes and took off his shirt so my tears can dry. "Shut up Shrimp and tell me what the hell happened!" He snapped, I wouldn't blame him, it was already late afternoon, I think, and I hadn't explained a thing to him. But where should I start? "Well...um let's just say it had something to do with my childhood, before I moved to Pallet..." Green's eyes softened and looked at my saddened E/C eyes. "It's the backstory of why I loved with my parents" His eyes filled with softness as well "Oh, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to Y/N" his voice was surprisingly soft and forgiving, a first from the porcupine. I shook my head. "I think it's better if I tell" He nodded back. Then mew came between us and put a hand/paw(is it a hand Or is it a paw???) on each of our heads. The flashback came back to me and my eyes were tearing up. Green pulled me into a hug and I hugged back, crying again. "Why? Why do they want Mew? Why can't they just leave me alone!" I choked out as I started sobbing.
(Why does sad nightcore songs have to play in the background while I'm writing this? ~^~) Today was the first time I've ever seen Green's soft side, he lived with his mother but I had never seen his father. I just kept sobbing until I had more tears, it was already sunset so we decided to stay by the lake and sleep there. It was silent the rest of the time and I was cooking dinner. "Y/N? I'm so sorry, I never knew that...my father, he left me and my mom right after I was born so I don't remember him" I looked at him "Green, that's horrible..." He looked at me, his green orbs filled with sorrow but sparkled when the setting sun hit his eyes.

Green's P.O.V

"It's nothing compared to what you've been through Y/N" Tear stains covered her red face and hey E/C orbs were filled with sadness, but looked full-of-life in the setting sun. "We'll stop Team Rocket, we'll stop that guy who was following us, we will avenge your parents!" What was I saying? I don't know but it felt right. I was mad at Team Rocket! He was a former grunt because of Love! What's so bad about that?!?! Then she ran and tackle hugged me and a few more tears rolled down her cheeks. "T-Thankyou Porcupine.." I chuckled, to be honest I got used to being called a Porcupine. "No prob Shrimp, and I think dinner is burning" She got off me immediately and went back to dinner, why was my heart pounding? Hmph dunno, must be leftover adrenaline from that run-in with the team rocket member. "Dinner is ready!" Y/N called out, our Pokémon already started eating, including Mew. I walked over and we ate in silence.

Mew's P.O.V

I feel bad, it's my fault! No wonder Y/N looked familiar! She's their daughter! Her father protected me from Team Rocket even though he was one of them! I stayed invisible that day, but I saw him die. And it was because of me and Team Rocket's leader's anger. I flew in to help his wife but she had died already, there was a little girl so I turned invisible and made her invisible as well, just in case any of the grunts would look there. It had worked and they left, I flew away and after so many years I met their daughter, the only way I could repay their kindness was to watch over her now. So that's what I'll do after we defeat Team Rocket! Together! Team Rocket has hurt to many people, one major victim being Y/N and Me! That's it! They chase and we attack! No more running away and it's time to fight! To avenge Y/N's parents like Green said! Those two were finally warming up to each other which was good. Since it was night we set camp and fell asleep, I flew around camp to make sure no one was here then went into Y/N's tent and fell asleep.

Giovanni's P.O.V

"What girl!?!?" I stood up from my chair. This can't be HIS daughter can it? "She had H/C hair and E/C eyes. Mew was with her as well and the former champion, Green was with her"
I was mad, I was beyond mad! I needed that whole family KILLED! How could she survive!?!? "Try and recruit the girl otherwise kill her and take the Mew, if we kill the boy it would cause to much commotion. It's (insert last name here) Daughter!" Surge's eyes went wide. "But I thought she was killed with her parents?" I sighed. "That's what we all thought until now, take a few of the grunts and keep following them." Surge sweat dropped. "Uh boss, I kinda lost her when they flew on her Charizard" I slammed my fist against the desk, causin my Persian to wake up. "THEN FIND HER! WE MUSN'T LET THE GIRL, GREEN, OR MEW ESCAPE!" Surge solute and his eyes showed a hint of fear, while the rest of his body didn't. "Yes sir!" He ran out and I sat back down with a sigh, Persian fell asleep again. We mustn't let those runts escape! They mustn't interfere with my plan!
