26: When the Dragonite comes...

(I couldn't sleep and had nothing to do so I present to you a very late chapter! Im sowee everyone!)
Nightcore- Just a Dream
Y/N's P.O.V

It was silent, but it was a peaceful silent as we were flying on Charizard. Green was infront of me, scared of Charizard' tail of course, and I was behind him. The silence is getting to me now, so I must say something! "Green, I'm boored...." I sighed, honestly I was, Green said the next place we were going was a surprise. He is determined not to tell me! He turned and face me "Deal with it Y/N" I rolled my eyes and puffed out my cheeks. Dragonite came out of her pokeball and flew with us looking around "Dragon dra!" I tilted my head at her and saw what was the matter, a Dragonite coming at us fast..."Green!" He turned his head again, "What is it Y/N?!" I pointed at the Dragonite and it came closer "Oh...it's just the Dragonite messenger, he comes often to the champions with mail and stuff like that" he shrugged, what was it with him today?! The Dragonite came in front of us and we stopped. That Dragonite stared at my Dragonite for a few seconds and she tilted her head while Charizard glared, Pokémon are confusing...the Dragonite handed us each a letter and flew off "What's this? Hey Porcupine! Go land somewhere!" He and Charizard huffed and Charizard dived down "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR CHARIZARD!!!" Charizard smirked and I laughed "AND WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?! CANT TAKE THE SPEED PORCUPINE?!" I loved the wind hitting my face, well how that happened? Green gripping on to Charizard, I kept laughing. When we landed, I got off of Charizard with ease and Green had a blush on his face, I giggled, hey he looked pretty cute with a small blush...I shook my head and we opened out letters in unison "What is this?"
I read the letter aloud:
Dear Y/N,

We invite you to join us at the annual regional ball. Many former and current champions and important persona will be there, please dress formally.

In order to attend, you must bring a partner or come as a group, your Pokémon must be groomed and dressed as well.

We look forward to seeing you, enclosed below we have provided your ticket.

"Oh, it's a ball, should we go Porcupine?"

Green's P.O.V

"Should we go Porcupine?" My heart thumped, well it's a formal thing and you have to have a date right? Maybe I can ask Y/N and say something there? "S-sure why not?" God damnit! I stuttered, must stay me! (*Smacks Green on the head with a rolled up news paper* You are you!) "Yay! We can invite Red like the old times!"(Insert Tsundere here) A tick mark appeared on my forehead, did we have to bring Red? Psh, she probably likes him that's why..."He might be there, does he have to come?"
A light blush crept up her face, she looked flustered, but adorable "Well he has to! I'm not going alone with you! And besides, he's my best friend! You both are!" She gave me the puppy dog eyes and cute pout, stupid Shrimp! Gah why should the shrimp do that face?! I sighed and ran a hand through my hair, I heard chuckling from the back where our Pokémon where "Fine Shrimp..." She smiled, at least I made her happy? "Thanks Porcupine, what what date is the ball?"
"In two days" Her jaw dropped and she grabbed my arm and dragged me to that rabid Charizard! That Charizard hated me with his burning heart, literally. He's burned me many times...and got away with it! The Shrimp shoved me on top of that annoying Charizard and Dragonite went back into her pokeball "To Goldenrod city! Oh wait, do I have to wear a dress?" I turned and looked at her with a blank face "It's a formal event, you are going to have to wear a dress and I'm going to have to wear a suit" She cursed under her breath and I laughed.

Brianna's P.O.V.

"Grr I can't believe it! We didn't get invited this year?! Invitations come around this time!" I whined and Charlotte nodded "Yeah...how are we gonna see Green?" She sighed "How are we supposed to save him from the evil Y/N! Her Charizard is pure evil! I bet she hates Green as much as her Charizard!" (Why do you hate the best Pokémon ever?!- oh wait, because he lit Green on fire?~ *Wiggles eyebrows* I know, I'm weird :3) me and Charlotte paced. How were we going to get in? "Hey Charlotte? What if we come as someone's plus one? Or as a reporter?" She smirked that smirk, that smirk always gave us a new hope. "Well I've got my older brother going as a reporter~ we can maybe go as his apprentices?" She winked and held out her hand for a highfive. I fighfived her "Charlotte! This is why you are my best friend!  Oh that's perfect! Operation save Green from Evil Witch is a go" (Btw, it's an anime reference, anyone know what anime?) she smiled "Now we have to get the best dresses ever! We don't have much time!" I nodded "To Goldenrod- wait a second.." Charlotte tilted her head at me "What?"
"What if they remember us from last time?"
"Oh yeah...that stupid Y/N!"
"I know right, should we send in someone else from the club? But we are the leaders though..."
"Disguises?"
"No, Green is very smart, thankfully but it won't help us in this situation..."
"Right...how about we just go? I mean do you think they could recognize us with makeup?"
"Charlotte, Y/N is dumb but even a pidgey could recognize us with makeup!"
"Well, how about we try it? Maybe we can get Y/N alone"
"But what if that blood-eyed freak is there to?"
"He won't be much of a problem, I say we just go!"
"Alright, let's hope it works..."
