Chapter 15: The battle PT 1

Your P.O.V

I woke up at the crack of dawn and already saw a few houndoom coming from route 1. I woke up the others and we got our Pokémon ready, they were going towards my house but the houndoom smelled nothing, so as expected, they headed for the lab. They didn't find anyone in their. Professor Oak had gone out, our plan had begun.

Professor Oak's P.O.V

"Team Rocket! What can I help you with?" Lt. Surge had come over to me, glaring. "The girl, E/C eyes, S/L H/C hair, Mew and Green. NOW" I shook my head. "Well they aren't here right now". He knocked me to the side and right at that moment a psychic barrier kept him from going any further. A powerful wave swept away all the houndoom.

Your P.O.V

Lapras had used surf twice then let it go, causing a huge wave to make the houndoom faint. Now we had the grunts to deal with and...Lt. Surge. He was there when my parents died! I gritted my teeth in anger. Now, it was up for Charizard and the Arcanines to take care of the grunts, blocking off any path of reinforcements arriving. Now we aren't killers and don't want any dead, but we still want vengeance! Well at least me and of course freedom. We wanted to destroy Team Rocket once and for all. They have done enough harm to us all, Pokémon and humans alike! Me and Green were going to take on Lt.Surge Sabrina and Giovanni, if all three showed up, but I wanted to take down the one in charge. Now my cheeks felt hot and a tear rolled down my cheek. Red and Green were gripping my hands and a blush crept up my face. I leaned again Green's shoulder waiting for the next phase to commence. I looked at him and his face was red. I looked at Red and he smiled back. I was scared, but more nervous, I was the most nervous ever in my life right now. We saw reinforcements but they were blocked by the fire types and retreated. Then, out of the flames was Giovanni himself and that Persian of his. I went from the back and he walked towards me. Charizard flew from behind him, locking him so he couldn't move. His Persian ran up to me to try and attack but Green's Umbreon shot him away. This was going to be the toughest battle in my life. The toughest in all of our's most probably. Why couldn't they have just left everyone alone and not start this war? Sabrina and Lt. Surge came from a cloud of smoke. Both of them stood behind Giovanni. It was Giovanni's Persian, Lt. Surge's Raichu, and Sabrina's Alakazam against my Charizard and Green's Umbreon. Yay number disadvantage, how exciting!

Grandma's P.O.V

It was a hard battle out here! There are to many grunts, but it's nothing for me and my husband's Nidoking and Nidoqueen! It's just that they keep coming and coming and coming! Our Pokémon haven't gotten tired yet but I do hope that Y/N and Green defeat the Team Rocket leaders!

Green's P.O.V

Umbreon had taken out Lt. Surge's Raichu. Y/N was battling Sabrina and Persian was no where in sight. Had he gone after Mew? I'm honestly not sure, just nervous and worried. Sabrina was strong, but Y/N was stronger. She had to beat her! I knew Y/N couldn't live with herself if she lost at all today. We promised that we would annihilate Team Rocket for Mew, freedom, her parents, everyone. I couldn't lose! She wouldn't lose! We all couldn't and wouldn't lose! I knew it! Because, I finally figured it out. I love Y/N!

Mew's P.O.V 

I was being chased by a Persian! It wouldn't stop and then it followed me into a forest, it caught my tail and dragged me to a helicopter. I didn't want to go back to that lab! I wouldn't go back to the torture! I wouldn't go back to the pain and experiments! I wouldn't help create a Pokémon that would be used as a tool! I don't want people and Pokémon to suffer because of me! I've already done enough! I used psychic and broke free of the Persian's grasp. It started chasing me again and I flew above the water where it couldn't reach me, but it used power gem and shot me down. I used Ice beam but that Persian dodged it! We were brawling for a while till the Persian caught me again! Persian was biting my tail and I wailed out in pain! That means...the psychic barriers would be down! No! That means more grunts would come! Maybe, if I went along peacefully would they leave? No then I would cause the humans I love so much, Green and      Y/N, to much pain. They care for me and I can't let them down!! I used Thunderbolt and the Persian let go, the chase beginning again. We kept using moves back and forth, each kept missing, until he shot me down with power gem! As he was towering over me, I used Thunderbolt to hit him, the Persian seemed weak now! Once I beat him I can go back to Y/N and Green! Then I can help them beat the elites and we win! We got this! Knowing Green and Y/N they make a strong team!

Your P.O.V

I was leaning against Green for support, Giovanni and Persian had disappeared, my heart was beating fast. It was like that every time I was around Green, I felt safe and secure by him. He gave me butterflies in my stomach. This feeling was a feeling I've had once before, this feeling, I loved that god damned Green Shigeru Oak. We were silent and our Pokémon were resting. I was afraid of where Giovanni and Persian had gone. Had they gotten their hands on Mew?
