Chapter 4:Champions

Your P.O.V

It's been four years since you started, you had all your badges. Now it was time to face the league, you heard that Green had already become champion and you were determined to take his throne. Blue gave up battling to become a fashion designer and you heard Red had gotten all the badges as well. I had ran into him a few times but at the same time with that stupid Porcupine! "You ready guys?" I looked at my Pokémon and smiled. We had gone through so much together, they looked back to me and smiled as well.

Green's P.O.V
"I finally did it! And that shrimp will never be able to beat me! Nor will red!" I say upon my throne umbreon smiling at me."So now what bud? I wonder if the shrimp will come...I really wanna battle her again!" Yea, to prove her that I'm actually stronger. It had been about two weeks since I became champion. I never got tired of coming at sitting on this throne. I was made for it! I heard a challenger's footsteps. Surprised to see that it wasn't the shrimp, but it was Red. "Hey idiot, ready for a battle?"
Red nodded. "Wow still can't talk? Jeez what a sissy!" Red started to glare and I smirked. "Well let the battle begin!"

~Timeskip to after the battle since I'm to lazy~

"I-I lost? Impossible!" I got on my knees, Red just blinked, him and his stupid Pikachu! They say in my throne while I watched. I picked up my pokeballs and starting descending down. 

Red's P.O.V

I beat him. He wasn't much of an opponent as Y/N was, but she had beat him every battle they had so it wasn't surprising. I hoped that someone like her would come and challenge me as I got bored easily. Seeing Green's face was priceless! I crushed that big ego of his that always annoyed Y/N and me. I still wonder why he goes to look for her just for another battle...honestly he should just leave her for me. She would be better like that! "Pika!" Pika looked at me and I smiled at him. My original goal was complete, I had become champion, but what now?

Your P.O.V

I knew I needed to practice. Red had beaten me to beating Green...Blue was gone, she went to Johto for a fashion internship. I was all alone with my Pokémon for the first time in forever. I walked to the Pokémon center since it was getting late staring at Charizard's pokeball. I wanted to bring him out but he was to big, same with Dragonite. Soon enough I bumped into someone
"Sorry sir" then I looked up to see who it was, Green. Shigeru. Oak. Him of all people! "Why hello Shrimp!" He smirked at me, it had been forever since we had bumped into each other but since we were older now, that smirk kinda looked cute! Wait what am I thinking?!?! "Hello and goodbye Porcupine, I thought you were champion" Score! I hit his softspot and smirked. He rolled his eyes at me and I swear I thought I saw a light blush. "Well I'm not anymore, thanks to that stupid Red" I had already known red beat him just wanted to hit a sore spot though"Red isn't stupid! And anyone could've beaten you Green!" He huffed and I smiled. "Whatever Y/N. well I'm staying at the Pokémon center nearby" Are you kidding me?!?! That was the one I was staying at! "Well I'm staying there to! Outta my way Porcupine!"
I pouted and he was laughing quietly"even after all these years I'm still Porcupine and you're still a shrimp!" He burst out laughing and I just rolled my eyes. "Shut up Shigeru!" He looked annoyed, he always got annoyed when I used his middle name. I winked and walked towards the Pokémon center. He scoffed and ran in front of me. I ran in front of him, before we knew it we were racing and I had won! "Jeez so slow Green! I've always beat you in everything!" He rolled his eyes "Shut up Y/N" Nurse Joy had given us the keys for our rooms and we began to walk. "Y/N tomorrow, we battle" I smiled. "Oh I'll win as usual Green" He smirked and my heart skipped a beat, was I actually enjoying spending time with him? That's a first. "Things have changed Shrimp. Tomorrow is the day I beat you!" I rolled my eyes and laughed. "In your dreams Shigeru!" I ran into my room laughing, after I saw his annoyed expression.

Green's P.O.V
I hated it when someone called me Shigeru. But for some reason it was even more annoying when Y/N called me that. I stepped into my room and Umbreon rubbed against my leg before hopping onto the arm chair and falling asleep. I was laying in my bed staring at the ceiling. Why was I happy to see her? Oh wait, she's my only source of entertainment, that must be why! Heh, it was fun to tease her all the time and her reactions were just ador-WHAT AM I THINKING?!?! SHE'S MY RIVAL! God what's happened to me? Whatever, she must hate me anyways and I hate her back. Even though it was quite nice seeing her again...

Umbreon's P.O.V.

I was pretending to sleep. Green kept staring at the ceiling thinking bout stuff. He muttered a few words, "Hate", "Y/N" "Rivals" "Amor" or did he say "A door?" I may never know, but I do know what happening even though those two are oblivious. Four years can really do a number on people. Maybe I should get Green and Y/N to travel together! I would need the help of Charizard and maybe even Dragonite! Y/N knew me and Charizard were friends from the start, even though she didn't say anything. I like that girl! And I'm gonna get those two to travel together! Even if I have to lose my favorite pokepuffs for it!
