30: The First Date

A/N- Woo! We have reached the end of this book! I might make a epilogue if people want it or if someone is still reading this book. We've come a long way and I'm really thankful for how my readers kept on reading till this cliché ending (not)

Y/N POV
I yawned and woke up, smiling and hugging a Charmander plush. Then turned to my phone after it has buzzed:
Green:
Wanna do something today?
Y/N:
Sure!!
Green:
Meet me by that place we used to go to when we were kids
Y/N:
Alright?
"Totally a gentleman" I muttered, rolling my eyes and rolling out of bed."I'll just go for casual then if he wants to meet me there"

~Time skip by my lack of dating skills~

"Hey Green!" I smiled and tackle hugged him to the ground, well tried anyways.
"Heya Shrimp" he ruffled my hair and I pouted "Hey! It took me five minutes to do that!"
"You look cute with messy hair though"
"But-"
"No buts, you're staying like this" He smirked and used my head as an arm rest.
"GREEEEEEEEN!" I whined and moved, Green pouted "You were the perfect height..."
"I'll call Charizard"
"No! Please! God damnit!"
"What's it like being at my mercy, Green?" I giggled
"Whatever Shrimp" He huffed and lifted me up, carrying me in my arms wedding-style
"W-where are you taking me?" My face tinted pink, and he chuckled
"You'll see, and you'll love it" Green smiled, running with me in his arms
"GREEEEN!" I hid my face in his chest and shut my eyes close, we ran for quite a bit till he stopped.
"You can open your eyes now Ms.Chicken"
"Hey! Am not!" I rolled my eyes and pouted, Green had set me down carefully and I gasped, looking around at the scenery, recognizing it perfectly "Lake Rage?"
"The One and only"
"Why here, Green?"
"Why not? It's beautiful and peaceful" He Smiled at me and sat down in the grass, I did the same and leaned my head against his shoulder, I caught his glance and he blushed. Our pokeballs started shaking and the Pokémon came out too, we enjoyed the silence and just watched them, it was nice seeing all of them getting along and it was surprising that Mew had found as as well, it had flown into my lap "Hey Mew!"
"Mew Mew!" It Smiled and Green rolled his eyes "Not you again" Mew pouted and made the puppy dog eyes, I giggled and joined it "Come on Green, how could you hate a Pokémon that's so adorable?"
"Mew! Mew?" Green had blushed and looked away while me and Mew giggled.
"So anyways Green, why did ya bring me here?"
"Cause, well" He got up and sighed "I want to battle you again!"
"And that's our first date?" I smirked and got up as well, Mew in my hands "Game on!"
"Heh, lets see what you can do Shrimp, don't hold back because you love me~"
"Don't get to cocky Porcupine, cause I'm going to beat your ass harder then ever before"
"I'd like to see you try, anyways, how bout a double battle?"
"Of course, don't be whiny when I burn you into ash!" I smiled and threw two pokeballs in the air, Green doing the same. I had Charizard and Dragonite, my two power houses! Green had brought out umbreon and Aerodactyl, an interesting combo.
"Ladies first"
"You'll regret that" I smirked "Dragonite! Charizard! Fly up and Dragonite Ice beam the ground! Charizard use thunder punch on Umbreon!" Dragonite froze the floor, freezing Umbreon in place but Aerodactyl had flown up.
"Go protect Umbreon Aerodactyl! Stone edge on Charizard!" Charizard had taken a big hit, ice shards flew everywhere from the broken ground, the four Pokémon were going at it and eventually it turned into an extremely heated sky battle with Umbreon using all of Aerodactyl's stone edges to go higher. A few spectators had come and the area was a disaster, perhaps we got a little to heated. Actually...THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A BATTLE TO HEATED!

Green's POV

This was one of the most intense battles ever for me, she'd gotten way stronger then I expected. Y/N finally matched my level! Heh, this girl...she's different
"Dodge it Charizard! Dragonite use thunder!" Umbreon had gotten hit while Aerodactyl had slammed into the ice covered ground.
"Losing your focus Porcupine?~"
"Nah, we're just going easy on you Shrimp!"
The battle raged on, at this point, people would take out their phones and record this battle between champions, the Pokémon had begun to lose strength but they still raged on, fueled by the passion in their heart.
"Charizard! Dragonite! Let's finish this! Charizard Flamethrower them into the ground! Dragonite Ice beam and freeze them there!"
"Try And Dodge! Come on you two, you can win this!" Umbreon had gotten hit by the flamethrower while Aerodactyl dodged it. Dragonite has managed to freeze one of Aerodactyl's wings and Umbreon's feet to the floor, Green grimaced as he knew what was coming next.!
"Umbreaon dark pulse! Aerodactyl stone edge!" Dragonite had gotten hit by the stone edge while Charizard dodged the dark pulse
"Charizard! Charge at Aerodactyl and Flamethrower!" Charizard smirked, immediately charging at Aerodactyl and using Flamethrower to the point Aerodactyl fainted. Umbreon kept launching dark pulses at the two, dodging as much as possible, the three remaining Pokémon greatly tired at this point. It had been two hours, Umbreon finally brought down Dragonite and it became even more intense. Y/N and mine's hearts were pounding in sync, both tense.
"Charizard! Charge at umbreon!"
"Umbreon! Foul play!"
A cloud of dust filled the area, Y/N and Green trying to pierce through the cloud to see their Pokémon, once it had cleared both Pokémon laid on the ground, fainted. I smirked
"Hah!"
"Oh shush Porcupine, you still haven't beat me!" Y/N giggled while I huffed, both returned their Pokémon into their pokeballs and looked at her, the crowd dispersed and we giggled.
"S-shall we go to the pokecenter?" I asked, approaching her
"Sure, and you owe me ice cream" she smirked
"Why?"
"I still have more wins then you!" She dashed and I huffed, that girl... I sprinted and caught up with her, picking her up bridal style "Y/N~ Your face is red~" After I said that , Y/N had an adorable dark blush on her face causing me to laugh. After a while we had gotten to the pokecenter and dropped our Pokémon there. Somehow pesky Mew had found us again and I couldn't do anything to stop him...especially since Y/N had adored Mew.
"Where do you wanna go next Y/N?"
"Ice cream!" Y/N turned to me with a childish grin and I laughed
"Alright, ice cream it is" I kissed her forehead and she hid her face in her hands, her reactions were always the best
"Heh"
"S-shut u-up P-Porcupine!"

~Timeskip to ice cream~
"What do ya want Shrimp?"
"We can just share a banana split if ya like"
"That's fine by me" I smiled and placed our order, Y/N went to find seats for us.

Y/N POV
Today was awesome! Battle with Green? Check. Free food? Check. Now all that remains is...
"I brought the ice cream!" I turned to green and the giant banana split he was holding.
"Woah...that is beautiful"
"What is? My face?"
"The ice cream, but that's a second" I smirked, holding back laughter while Green rolled his eyes, sitting next to me   I grabbed a spoon and licked my lips, eyes glittering at the sight of ice cream
"Say ahh"
"Wait what?" I turned to Green and I tilted my head, he was going to feed me?
"Say ahh, aish..just open your mouth" I did as he said and he fed me a spoonful of ice cream, I blushed at his actions, now what if I do the same?
"Your turn Porcupine, Say ahh!"
"Eh?" He blinked at me, blushing lightly and after a few seconds he opened his mouth and I fed him ice cream. We continued eating and we probably set a world record, we finished that huge banana split in five minutes I think? Anyways, he-
"GREEN!"
"Yes?"
"P-PUT ME DOWN!" There I was, lifted above his shoulder and my face probably just went fire red, not even tomato, but fire red. He giggled and continued carrying me, Mew flying around us, it was already dark and Mew had used psychic to drag us somewhere
"M-Mew? Where are you taking us?"
"Oi! Let go of me pesky Pokémon!" Green huffed and Mew giggled, he took us by a lake and had lifted us right above the lake, the Pokémon who lived there came and watched. What was Mew planning? A shooting star had passed by and we looked towards it, once it passed our vision we looked around us, the dark sky filled with glimmering stars.
"Woah.."
"That pesky Pokémon finally did something good..." a few of the Pokémon in the lake used water moves to make a fountain while Mew still held us with its psychic above the lake, this was gorgeous!
"T-thank you all, this is beautiful-" Green leaned in and Mew made us dance, both of us blushed as they made a heart out of water behind us, I smiled, enjoying it while Green smirked, eventually we were dancing on our own while Mew made us go even higher into the sky
"Y/N.."
"Yes?"
"You wouldn't mind if I did this right?"
"Did wha-" he leaned towards me and kissed me, I was shocked for a second but closed my eyes and kissed back, my face felt as if it was on fire, eventually we pulled away and kept dancing, enjoying every second.
"We'll never forget this day, ever! Right Porcupine?"
"Definitely, how can I ever forget a second spent with my Y/N?" My heart raced and I nodded, unable to speak. Arceus knows how long we danced for before us both and Mew got tired, he set us back on the ground and we thanked the Pokémon. Green thanking Pokémon that weren't his own was a first so I'm thinking good things are to come soon!
"Shall we head back Green? I'm kinda tired now..."
"Yeah, me too" He yawned "Thanks Mew"
"Mew Mew!" Mew Smiled and flew into my arms, yawning as well
"You can just stay the night at my place, it's closer" I nodded in thanks, rubbing my eyes
"WAIT!" He turned to me, wide-eyed
"POKECENTER! POKÉMON!"
"OH ARCEUS YOU ARE RIGHT!" We dashed, the Pokémon stared at us while Mew waved at them. We had gotten there quickly and gotten our Pokémon back, Nurse Joy laughed when she saw us.
"Ma'am, Sir, we have two empty rooms you can use"
"Ah, T-thanks!" I smiled, still trying to catch my breath, Green nodded, panting. She gave us keys to our rooms and we slowly walked to them, as we got to the doors Green smiled and kissed me gently on the forehead
"Goodnight Shrimp, im waking you up early in the morning so your grandparents won't worry, ok?"
"O-okie, Goodnight Porcupine!" I hugged him tightly and he hugged back, we stayed like that till another trainer coughed, trying to come through. "Sorry sir.." he scoffed at me and walked into his room, I shrugged and smiled at Green once more then we both went into our rooms. I jumped onto the bed and snuck inside the comforters, Mew went into the chair nearby and settled down there, I had put my Pokémon's pokeballs on the side table next to me and drifted off to sleep, smiling.

I had a loooot Of fun writing this book, I'm not sure what book I'm gonna do next, but I'm extremely sorry for releasing this chapter so late. School and many other things kinda filled my schedule, but I'm really happy that this book has come so far, thank you readers for sticking with me! Once again, sorry I released this so late, School has been a hassle and I finally got time to write due to break but thank you everyone for helping me get this far! ❤️(once again, sorry for being an ass and posting this chapter 6 months later. I've been busy as hell and honestly, I've barely got any romance experience)
