The next few day we spent breaking the news about our engagement to our families and apologising for Ruby's language Danny was due to come round liv was going out shopping so it was just me and ruby there was loud knocking at the door I opened it "alright g congrats mate" he said to me "cheers livs not in she's gone shopping" "what already" "no jot for the wedding for ruby" "ah right I've been hearing about her new word" "don't say it to her she's been a nightmare" I warned him he just grinned "do you want some tea" I asked him "of course" he said going into the lounge "alright ruby" I heard him say when I went in he was sat on the floor with her playing "so ruby what's your new word" "Danny" I warned "come on ruby say the bad word for uncle Danny" he tried again "fucking hell" she said to him he howled with laughter she said it again to him "ruby no" I told her she giggled making Danny laugh even more "Danny you fucking arsehole why did you have to get her to say it" "fucking arsehole" ruby started saying "oh Jesus no ruby" Danny was hysterics now which made her say it even more we spent the next hour trying to get her to say something else but no she carried on the front door opened it was liv she came into the lounge "hey you ok" she asked Danny "yeh congrats on the engagement" "aw thanks anyone want a drink" she asked before we could answer ruby piped up with her new word "what did she just say" liv asked looking between me and Danny "fucking arsehole" she piped up again "where has she heard that" she asked neither of us saying anything "who taught you that ruby" she pointed in the direction of me and Danny "really ruby daddy and uncle Danny taught you a bad word" "uncle Danny didn't teach her" Danny protested "you liar you were trying to get her to say the other one and I called you that" "your grown men swearing in front of a little girl both of you should be ashamed of yourselves" liv told us she walked off into the kitchen I could hear the kettle boiling and decided to go see her "liv" "what" "I'm sorry I was telling him off for trying to get her to say it I forgot what I was saying" "yeh and now she's swearing even more glen" "she'll stop it we just need to ignore her when she says it" "take these in would you" we went back in with the drinks "fucking arsehole" ruby shouted Danny stared laughing "Danny if you can't behave in front of my daughter you won't be allowed near her" liv told him making ruby shout of fucking arsehole again
