Ruby was in her element having her daddy back she was currently sat on his knee as he read to her "another daddy" "no I need to make tea ruby" "please daddy" "no ruby later" she threw her book on the floor having a paddy "oi ruby stop it" glen told her she got off his knee picking her book up "mummy read" she asked me "ok come sit here" I told her she climbed up next to me glen disappeared into the kitchen he shouted us in telling us tea was ready a short while later ruby got down and ran into the kitchen I followed her he'd made us pasta salad and garlic bread ruby started tucking in to her food I pushed mine round my plate "don't you like it" glen asked "I'm not really hungry" "you need to eat liv try abit more" I picked at a few more bits of pasta and salad the baby was kicking quiet a lot I rubbed my tummy trying to soothe him but he was having none of it glen took my plate away when he'd finished "go and rest liv" "I'm fine I'm fed up of resting" "how about I run you a bath after I've sorted ruby out" "I can bath her" "no liv your not let me look after you both" "ok fine" I told him going into the lounge I could hear glen cleaning up and then taking ruby upstairs I could hear her giggling as she played in the bath I was tidying up her toys when glen shouted me from upstairs telling me my bath was ready I finished tidying then made my way upstairs glen had lit candles in the bathroom for me and there was soft music playing he smiled at me as he left the bathroom "I'm off to read to ruby" he told me "ok" I undressed and got into the bath I soon relaxed in the warm water the baby seemed to calm down too I stayed in the bath till the water started going cold I dried off and made my way to the bedroom in my towel glen came out his room "you ok" he asked "yeh fine thanks for that" "it's ok do you need anything" "no I'm fine I'm gonna have an early night I think" I told him "ok night" "night glen" I told him walking into what used to be our bedroom it seemed so big and empty without him in it with me
