m e l o d y r e a g a n."Hey Shawn, how are you?" I smiled as I walked over to him. As he turned round my smile soon faded. His face held no emotion and his eyes were cold.
"Why are you talking to me?" he asked, looking around, as if he was embarrassed
"Because we're friends?" I stuttered, which came out a little quieter than my last question
"Friends? You actually thought I would want to be friends with someone like you?" He scoffed, as he took a step closer, and our faces were inches apart
He gritted his teeth and looked me up and down and smirked, "I would never be friends with anybody as horrifying and humiliating as you. I mean look at you, you're an sorry excuse for a teenager, you don't deserve to even breathe the same air as me." He spat
"What? But you said-" I started, which came out barely a whisper
"What did I say Melody? because I can never recall, stating we were friends, and I'd rather die, than be associated with you." He laughed
Just then Grace and Dylan walked up to me, laughing. Before I could even realize what was happening, Grace's freshly manicured hand had made contact with my face, leaving it burning with pain. Touching it, Dylan kicked my leg, causing me to double over in agony, as he took his fist and drove it into the side of my ribs, resulting in me lying on the floor.
As my eyes began to focus on the faces in front of me. They were all laughing, and then they walked away. Every single one.
I was all alone again.
Shawn turned round and stopped, staring at me.
"I hate you." He seethed.
The darkness then surrounded me.
My heart was shattered along with everything else in my life.
I had nothing.
I was alone.
I had no one.
I was better off dead.
