I woke up in a dark room, the back of my head pounding in pain. Scanning around the room, i squinted my eyes to see a tall figure leaning on the wall opposite me, a small flicker of light emitted from the ceiling lightbulb, just enough that i could see what he was holding. The blade was needle-like and pointy, as if it had been previously sharpened for a particular purpose. Twirling it around in his hand, he stared down at the knife, the edges of his lips tilting up in a sly smirk.

"It's about time you woke up," he stated. His voice was hoarse, different to the man from my apartment, it was filled with hatred and enthusiasm, showing he wasn't somebody you would mess with.

Deciding to keep my mouth shut, he made his way over to the chair in front of me, sliding it forward from the wall, he slowly sat down, his eyes never leaving my pale, broken figure. As he slouched back, he brought the object up to his eyes, examining the sharpened edge with satisfaction.

"i had it sharpened for today, for you milady," he chucked at his choice of words, cackling repetitively, while his chest moved up and down in rhythm with each laugh. Noticing my silence, he sat up, eyes overflowing with anger and determination, "Speak!" he demanded

"S-sorry.." i stuttered, "W-what do you mean, f-for me?" my voice was small, barely audible

"Fuck me, you really are oblivious aren't you? I mean, Andrew told me that you were a bit dopey, but my God," he stood up, taking a few steps towards me, causing me to shift for the first time, realizing my wrists and ankles were chained, my heart skipped a beat. i was unable to move and unable to protect myself, i didn't know what was going to happen or what he was going to do to me, but i knew it wasn't good. As the fear consumed me, i was numb to the pain that sprouted up my body. Wincing slightly as he withdrew the knife from my leg, i threw my head back as the throbbing sting made its way around my leg, infecting every place possible with torture and pain.

"Why are you doing this?!" i screamed through the agony, as he stuck the knife into my other leg, causing the same result to form in its place. Feeling sick, i let my head sink down, the blood oozing through my jeans as the torture began worsening.

"Because I hate you." he seethed, all the anger and satisfaction from what he's done injected into those four, cruel words.

"how can you hate me, if you don't even know me?" i questioned through the pain as i held my hands on the wounds, pressing hard so they would stop bleeding, but instead making it worse.

"Trust me babe, i do," winking at me, he made his way to the chair and set the knife, that was covered in my blood, down on the seat. Clasping his hands before rubbing them together, he turned around to stare at his work.

My body fell limp and my head had dropped. My brown hair had fallen over my face, making it hard to see my features. My eyes were rid of colour, and my skin was as pale as a sheet of paper.

Smirking to himself he nodded his head and walked up the stairs that were beside me. Slowly taking it step by step, wanting me to remember the sound of the creeks they make, "get used to it sunshine, you'll be hearing it for a while." he teased,"see you later babe." and with that, he opened the door and walked out, letting it slam shut behind him.

"i'm not your fucking babe." i snapped.

----
Hatred flowed through my veins as i rotted down in this room. i had no idea where i was or if anyone was looking for me, which i doubt they were considering everybody hates me. The room was as cold as ice, and i was sure if i stayed down any longer i would freeze, or die from hypothermia.

Rattling the chains once more, i gave up hope on breaking free. The bleeding had stopped but i'd lost a lot of blood and my legs were too weak to even walk if i had broken from the chains. They hadn't given me food, or anything for that matter but a wound in each damn leg. Who were these people and why do they hate me so much?

I'd never seen any of them before, the only person that seems even the slightest bit familiar is the one from my apartment. The bastard that killed my parents. I would make him pay, if it's the last thing i do on this earth, it will be to kill him. Even if it ends up killing me too, or i end up in jail, i don't care. What have i got to live for anyway?

Shawn. I had Shawn to live for. He made me happy, he always knew how to make me smile and laugh. He's helped me through this and he'll find me. he'll find me and he'll rescue me. Then ill tell him everything, from my parents to what happened and we'll fight them together, side by side.

The door opened and a set of feet padded down the steps, jumping like a child when they got to a few before the last, and landing on the ground. The tall figure seemed oddly familiar, as they neared me, their features became visible. Brown eyes as deep as chocolate, hair as soft as cotton, with curls at the end of his quiff.

No.

No. No. No. No. No!

It can't be, it just can't!

My eyes watered as the tears began to form, forcing them back, i consumed the heartbreaking sight in front of me.

"Hello, Melody," he smirked, his eyes as dark as the midnight sky

"Shawn.."

OOOOOH I BET YALL DIDN'T SEE THAT COMINGG! Damn Shawn's a bit of an asshole in this chapter lmao.
