Chapter Twenty-Five

"What the hell are you doing here?" i spat at the couple in front of me

"You are ruining my daughters life!" Melody's mother screamed, pointing her finger at me as if she was, in some way, trying to seem threatening.

"You've already ruined her life you selfish bastards! I'm assuming you've already went to try and apologize, to take her away from me, because you hate me. But let me tell you something Mr and Mrs Reagan. She isn't going anywhere." i seethed, the hatred for them practically seeping through my teeth

"We'll see about that Mendes." Melody's father smirked, taking a step farther away from me as he turned his back and walked out

"If either of you touch her. I will kill you with my bare hands, and i won't regret it." i shouted after him before locking eyes with Clara, burning a hole through her sockets as i took a step closer to her. Tilting my head to the side i looked at her with a small smirk on my face before bringing my lips to her ear and whispering the words she thought nobody knew, "That little baby inside you would be very disappointed if you disobeyed my rules, and would, unfortunately, have to be the one to pay the price for it."

"You wouldn't." she gasped, bringing her hand to her stomach

"Oh, but i would. you do not come here and threaten my guys and expect me to let you get away with it. Does Gareth know you're pregnant? i'm sure he'd be thrilled to know he's going to be a father again, just to toss them aside like you both did with Melody,"

Taking a step back, i turned around and began to walk back to my crew, my words lingering in the air surrounding us.

"I won't let you take this baby away from me." she screamed. The room became silent as i turned around and saw what was in her hand. "I'm not letting you ruin my family."

"Clara, think about what you're doing." i warned

"I don't need to, you're a monster. you have to be stopped." she sniffed, "Ill tell Melody it was an ambush, and you couldn't get away in time, but you wanted me to tell her you loved her, that way, she'll have to come back to us. We'll be a happy family again, together till the end. You ruined that when you took her. You're going to have to pay for that."

"You're the one who ruined your 'perfect little family'! You left her! Pretended to be dead? How sick can you be! Your daughter needed you and you left her, the only monster here, is the one pointing the gun at me." i screamed back, not caring if she shot me or not, as long as i stood up for Melody, i felt content

"Shut up!" she yelled, "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" shaking her head violently and placing her finger on the trigger

"No!" i yelled back, "Never, ill always stick up for her, I lo-" and i was cut off by the sound of a gunshot piercing through the midnight silence.
